Lalo's Taqueria

I had the quesabirria tacos and 1 taco de cabeza (head meat, delicious) with beans and rice. Everything was served hot and very tasty. My only complaint was no diet drink options (sugar free) except coffee or water. They have complimentary chips and salsa self serve bar. Prices were fair for today's inflation. I will definitely return. Side note:Clean dining area and restroom. Older Mexican music reminds me of grandma's house.

Im not sure why , every Mexican place in frenso does this. I ordered supreme burrito ( guacamole, cheese) and asked for all the vegetablesBut when I get it , it has NOOO vegetables, never any cilantro onion, and berely any guacamole. Like the burrito is just brown from meat n rice n beans, why does every place do this? I ask for side of cilantro onion, lemon and added it myself. Overall good flavor but real frusturating that no vegetables ever in burritos

I ordered beans and pozole through Doordash. I was expecting refried beans and was surprised to receive whole beans, but they were still very good. Possibly I just didn't read the menu description carefully enough.The posole was better than Vallertas, but still too salty. The tostadas for the posole weren't crisp because they were delivered being packaged on top of the rest of the condiments for the posole instead of being wrapped separately.

Today 7/21/24 I ordered the birria fries. Pretty damn good. Salsa was good also. Will definitely try again

The prices were fair. Ordered a super burrito. It was mostly packed with rice n beans. Skimpy with the meat. Would've rated it 2 stars but had to do 3 because the horchata saved it. The customer service was good though.

An absolutely hot mess is what I paid for smdh. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and pozole. When I say these were the WORST enchiladas I ever had I mean just that. First the sauce is way too tangy and they had very little cheese. But what I was most pissed off about was the gave me dry, barely able to chew pieces of chicken. The rice was dry. The beans were dry. Even the salsa sucked. I got 4 different kinds and they all tasted the same.Tangy with very little flavor. I haven't tried the pozole yet and I'm nervous. Sucks cause the last time I ordered from here I got the birria tacos and they were pretty good. Needless to say although the waitress was pretty sweet I will not be a returning customer and would not recommend this restaurant.

Came today on 8/5/24 and ordered an asada burrito and steak and shrimp burrito spend almost 50 bucks and noticed that they put ground beef in both burritos and not asada. I thought I was trippin for a second but another customer came in and got asada fries and said too it was ground beef. So, unless you want ground beef for the price of asada then come here to get screwed over. My boyfriend even went and told the lady that it was ground beef and she stated that they don't offer ground beef yeah right.. you're better off getting an asada burrito from a taco truck for cheaper.

If you wanna eat out but don't care for corporate fake Mexican then this is your answer. A home cooked meal kind of place.Sentence: Outstanding

Came in looking for a different flavor of Quesabirria Tacos. And find it I did! I had the 2 Quesabirria Tacos Plate. You have the choice of beans or refried beans. I did the refried ones. Had good texture and flavor. Not just smashed beans that had been boiled in water. The rice was about average. The birria consommé was delicious. Had great taste and mix of spices that gave the rice and beans a great "unmm hmm" flavor when mixed. .Now, the quesabirria tacos were of great flavor. Came with onions and cilantro and together with the consommé gave a great mix of tastes. I had the two tacos plate and that was sufficient. All and all this plate was a great choice. I for sure will be back. The place was empty when I came on a Saturday afternoon/early evening. Some other people came afterwards. There is music playing in the background but it is not blasting high as many other places I've been in the area. You can carry a conversation with anyone and not fight with the music to hear the other person. Sorry about no picture. I was hungry and started eating before I realized. Maybe next time you can come and try it and take pictures. I will do that next time too. Happy eating at Lalo's.

BS , i hated it #nasty ew don't go here it sucks no flavor in nothing i'm disappointed
