Very rude to patients in chronic pain.Unprofessional and inhumane treatment.I can't believe how awful they treat people who need health care. The office is a dumpy place, dirty and old. The staff treats patients as if we are drug addicts, no kindness or any consideration.I hate lags, it's cruel and dehumanizing.

Latavia S Esters is someone that I would not recommend to anybody. She is disrespectful and has no right to disrespect potential clients. She's to only give out her recommendations! she is not to tell someone what they should get and what they should be doing. She is extremely unprofessional and had made my mother cry no person deserves that! If it was up to me I would have her fired

This place was terrible. My appointment was moved up by the staff from a Wednesday to a Monday, great! When I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment and was sitting in my car in the parking lot the called me and tried to reschedule for Thursday instead of the Monday. I told them that wasn't possible and they told me to just come in. The place looked sketchy.... I sent my wife a text with my location because the place looked like one I would imagine they would drug you and steal your kidneys at. The ladies at the desk were nice and the young lady that took me back and did the conduction test was pleasant she shocked my are so bad that I am still bruised and it's been over a week. She said the doctor would do the needle test and he came in and was in a hurry because he bought a house in Reno. So the test that should of been thorough and took a half hour or more took only 7 minutes. This place is a work comp hack shame place that should be closed! The test was performed inaccurately and the techs weren't even licensed medical assistants. I'm considering reporting them to JACO and consumer affairs. If your work comp people try and send you there refuse. They still have boxes piled up in the makeshift lobby like their moving. And it smelled ant spray.

First, no complaints about the support staff. Most were friendly and professional at a job that was way over-booked with patients. The Shields office was crowded and loud with the tv all the time, moreso than the Bullard office. The bathrooms were sometimes dirty and things seemed to be decided last-minute, like which room you'd go to. I endured going to Lags for over a year to fill a pain med I'd been prescribed to take once a day for a back injury and chronic bursitis. I did not see doctors only assistant types. Several times the appointment was only a video conference. What was frustrating was being treated like a drug seeker or addict. Because you see a different "doctor" each time, you never establish a respectful relationship. Also, being required to leave belongings out of the restroom when you give a sample is degrading when there is no cause to treat someone that way without reasonable cause. There is a paranoia now about everyone being a drug seeker and pain patients feel the pressure of this paranoia. Luckily, one day a call from Lags led to my fortuitous exit from that place when a Lags gal called and said I should come in for a random drug test. Well people, I WORK, and getting off to go pee in a cup at the drop of a hat is not in my job description. I have bills. I didn't go to their random test (by the way, it's a 60 mile total drive) and then comes another call while I was at work from a "Social Worker." RU kidding me? I told them to forget it all. I'd do without the hassle of that paranoid net. I've changed primary providers, SEE A REAL DOC for my new meds, and am so happy I don't have to go back to Lags.

I have been going to Lags for several years now and I understand the low ratings I just read, but in all honesty I have witnessed improved facilitys, communications and a willingness to help. My first impressions weren't all that great either, but after seeing all the hoops they have to jump through, all the attitudes they have to put up with, and I can only imagine the paperwork! My impressions are totally different. I know the wait can sometimes be long, but not as long as I have seen at other medical offices I've been to. I see Dr Sanchez and Dr Hope almost exclusively and they are very compassionate and caring individuals that do their jobs very well. I personally don't know where or how I would be if it weren't for Lags and these two individuals. It did take a good yr and alot of tests and adjusted meds but I feel a great indeptness to Lags for my current health. Sometimes you have to speak up and say no, and our attitude is everything, always! Try to be nice to these people, look around and imagine having to deal with people in pain, unreasonable and sometimes rude, all day long!

I honestly wouldn't even give it a dam star this is the worst place I've ever been to I've already been there twice two weeks ago I got there signed in appt @ 7:30 checked in @ 7:15 , after not being called in after 45 min and seeing everyone else being called back that had appts later than myself my daughter in law got up and asked why they haven't called us they said we never signed in , went on to argue with us to not disrespect the staff all she was doing was stating we had already signed and haven't been called back , frustrated we left made another appt for following week which was yesterday they called to confirm the day before , showed up AGAIN after 45 min same old crap happened and now said I didn't have an appt , so frustrated with this place and the receptionist Margaret just sat there like she didn't know what was going on when I signed in with her and she didn't say anything while I sat there the whole time these people that work there are all a joke so unprofessional filthy and nasty raunchy people who work there they have no etiquette what's so ever I don't recommend this place to anyone they need to make this where u can give negative stars and how all the other medical assistants come out of the back to argue with you as if this is gonna be a street fight or something is ridiculous no morals , no respect , no etiquette , no apology NOTHING !! even patients that were in the office were telling theme why are thy even arguing with us if they were in the wrong save yourself the time and trouble and go elsewhere ......

That place is horrible! Whoever had given it a 5 star review has to work there! The place is crowded, stuffy, and you have to wait forever! Not to mention the reception staff is always talking to one another and they ignore you! When you finally do get their attention they are rude. They heard you through like cattle and when you finally do get to the exam room the walls are dirty and carpets are filthy. The ceilings are missing tiles! Also they send from one building to the next through the parking lot, and they really should have security! I have seen bad stuff happen out there!

I was in 1/24 for first visit. Medication that was called in was not on formulary for insurance. Since that time I've waited 115 minutes on the phone to their office in addition calls to my pharmacy & insurance company. I'm now on day 7 with no response, no relief, no concern to the need of a new patient. My next step is contacting Fresno/Madera Medical Society, the AMA and anyone else that will take my call and written complaint. This probably won't help - but I just want SOMEONE TO DO THEIR JOB!
