I finally stumbled on this place being open! My husband and I always joke that they are never open. This little shop is fairly small, not a huge inventory but still worth a stop if you find them open. They seem to be open a little more hours lately so you might luck out. I like this place because I found some unusual items, like needle in a haystack lol Have fun!

Seen the good reviews on yelp and I decided to take a look with my husband. We walked in 10 min before closing but we weren't aware that they closed at 2pm. Bad on our part, we looked around and as I was talking to my husband about an item, the old lady's said something along the lines of , "let's go folks, shop is closed! Pay now or you need to leave immediately". I kindly left my things, & walked straight out. Personally I did not appreciate the way she talked to us, she singled us out and didn't say anything to the other customers. Very bad customer service. There is better thrift stores around with more valuable things, I suggest go there! Don't waste your time on this shop.

This place is awesome! I always find a treasure when I visit. From first glance Tienda appears to be a dull thrift store. There are a lot of replusive 80s and 90s items that can distract from some of the good stuff.... but you just have to dig! The staff is friendly and very sweet. They love exact change and bringing your own bag.some recent one of kind finds from Tienda...Beautiful vintage leather pumps in good condition $3Small 70s psychedelic printed suitcase (perfect size for laptop) $6Unusual vintage earrings with swan heads $2will always go back!

I have been shopping here before my first daughter was born and she is nearly 31. However, God help you if you come in after 2 o'clock on Saturday. They close at 3 on Saturday afternoons and the volunteers intone this every 5 minutes. They lock the doors at 2:45. You have to ask to be let out. And they do not take plastic of any kind, which used to be just inconvenient but is now ridiculous because they are probably the only thrift store in town that doesnt.

Its for a good cause. You can find some good stuff but you really need to hunt. The people who work there are volunteers and half of them don't seem very happy to be there. It's kind of disappointing. I asked one woman about the price of a dress and she said "If it's on that rack it's a dollar, IT SAYS $1 RACK" but when I went to purchase said dress the woman at the register said it was $4 and it must have been in the wrong place. Prior to trying stuff on they very loudly and rudely were commenting on how "those Mexicans" are always pretending not to understand things and trying to steal from them. Racist much? I've had good experiences and I won't discredit those because of what I witnessed today, but I am going to think twice about shopping there again. You want to feel good when you're supporting a good cause. This experience made me want to donate directly to Children's Hospital and run far away from this place.
