La Playa

It's been a while since I've eaten at this place but the tacos are the best I've had so far--the handmade tortilla just has something special compared to other restaurants I've tried. My favorite was the fish tacos & the ceviche (not pictured). But you can tell the food was freshly made--like a home-cooked meal. One of my favorite taco places & I will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area again. 10/10 for the food. I think the environment could use some touching up and the service was okay. My Spanish was mediocre but I'm glad the person working got my order. There was only one person working and she was doing everything (cooking, making tortillas, taking orders, cashiering etc.)--so props to her. As much as I love this place I have to be honest and give it 4/5 stars due to the environment but the food is really good nonetheless.

The food was amazing I do t usually eat seafood but man this was amazing ! The service was top tier the waitress kept coming back on fourth checking up on us every 15mins ! The vibe was cool great place to chill to eat with family and friends on top of thadj playing and mixing songs !

Food is great! 5 stars for the food, only went down to 4 because os the environment. We love their shrimp tacos, ceviche and shrimp cocktails! It is something way too loud in the building to where you can't hear the person next to you and their tables are flimsy.Other than that, it's great!

Almost gave up on it because I wasn't able to find it right away but thank God I didn't. So it's a pretty small place couple pub tables inside and a bench outside so don't expect a big restaurant but def worth it. The food is made fresh , hand made tortillas for tacos . We ordered asada tacos (delicious) and fish tacos which were delicious too. Def recommend it if your in the area!!!

I would love to give this place 5 stars but because I come here so much I simply can't. Gotta be real. Best ceviche ever. I even heard from multiple people that their shrimp tacos are a hit. See picture for details. But the reason for La Playa, which has the best ceviche in my opinion, not getting 5 stars is because my shrimp tasted funny the time I went. Took it out my mouth. Wasn't feeling it. Now this is one imperfection after going there over 20 times ahha. So I will be going back and trying the shrimp tacos.

Love the shrimp tacos with chiptole sauce! Very flavorful! They make fresh homemade tortillas for shrimp tacos . The tortilla is thick and best to eat it fresh. It gets very busy during lunch times (12 to 1p). I would recommend calling your order in before picking up or dining it because of the long wait time. The owner of very friendly.

Food is amazing! Shrimp Tacos are the best with their homemade chipotle sauce and handmade tortillas! They are a little slow and not super friendly but the food is amazing! Their shrimp cocktails are the best in the area!I have seen a cook with her hair down, which is unsanitary, but I have never got a hair in my food soooo..... 4 STARS!

Not too shabby! I'm personally not a big fan of mariscos but two of my friends love this place and I've never been, so decided to give it a try. I honestly thought I wouldn't like it. I absolutely loved it!! I ordered the Camarones en crema. Let me tell you, these beautiful, meaty, butterfly shrimp were perfectly coated in a chipotle cream sauce, placed on a bed of sauteed onions and bell peppers. Accompanied with a delicious side of rice and beans, and hand made tortillas! I will definitely come again and try out some of their other dishes!

There were few people in front of us when we arrived. One guy that didn't speak Spanish was trying to order something and the lady didn't understand him, one guy helped her with the order, she STILL got it wrong! Anyways, the lady was by herself and she got mad people we're asking her questions, she was under pressure, but it is NOT the customers fault. She is responsible of how she runs the business. I'm top of the that she was taking care of a child inside the place. Very bad service. There are few other restaurants with seafood to go in town. I wish these small business places KNOW customers are important!It took over an hour to get our food! Ridiculous.
