La Mo Cafe

The Dulce de leche latte is fantastic. They had cat and cloud coffee to choose from for espresso which was such a treat. Ordering ahead is convenient. Parking can be challenging. Service was good.

It's been years since dining here... I remember the food was good and the service, there were a lot of drunks and that ruined our experience. Haven't been back since

I love a good brunch and La Mo cafe checks all the boxes for me! 1. The vibe is chill2. The courtyard is adorable3. The coffee is AMAZING! (Get the Frida!) 4. Everything on the menu is delish ... I recommend the Mexican Benedict or the guacamole toast with an egg! This is a great place to have a girls brunch or a brunch date! They also serve cocktails!

This place is so cute! I have had dinner at the restaurant part, but this was my first time coming to the cafe. I would love to come and sit and do homework sometime, very chill vibes. I had the Turkish latte (mint and cardamom) it was delicious. I love cardamom. I also had the quiche which was tasty, as well. The service was decent. I think the girl who helped me was named Mia. SHE was especially sweet.

Coffee was good, waiting a bit but wasn't too bad considering it was the weekend. Friendly staff and the atmosphere was great also. Definitely would recommend and come back! If you live in Turlock or passing by you should stop by !

The coffee is delicious , I always still to the EMMA (ingredients are on their site some of the baristas are not familiar with this drink . Staff isn't super friendly . But , the coffee is worth it.

On each of our last five visits, my significant other and I experienced a consistent issue with the staff's disregard for us. While the quality of the food and coffee at La Mo Cafe is decent, the staff's behavior has been quite disappointing. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's a slow day or a busy one; our attempts to communicate with staff were often met with indifference. While waiting our order to be called, we inquired about the coffees on the counter, we received no response and were simply walked away from.To make matters worse, both of our drinks on our last visit lacked enough espresso and tasted so bad that we had to throw them out. The quality of the coffee has also been inconsistent. On top of that, we observed other customers at the coffee counter facing similar difficulties. One incident stood out when a staff member initially made a drink in a regular cup for a customer who wanted it to go. The staff then poured the drink from the cup into a to-go cup, assuming the customer would accept it as is. When the customer requested the drink to be remade to their specifications, it prompted the remaking of the drink by the staff, who were also overheard whispering among themselves. Unprofessional. Furthermore, the service was so poor that I didn't even feel comfortable requesting a refund for our poorly made drinks. Instead, I opted to file a dispute with my credit card company. We've given this location multiple opportunities, and each time, we have tipped generously in the hope of a better experience. However, our efforts to be courteous customers were met with disrespect, leaving us feeling ignored and undervalued. We believe in second chances, but after experiencing this for the fifth time, we've decided that this will be our last visit to La Mo Cafe. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Whenever I do my weekend grocery runs, I try to find a "treat yo'self" spot to essentially... treat myself. Found La Mo Cafe through Yelp and was pleasantly surprised! Located along Main Street, La Mo Cafe gives me chill hipster Mexican vibes. The coffee shop is cute and airy, and hectic with the bustle of waiters from La Mo (sister restaurant in its nearby nook) grabbing mugs of latte art-topped coffees. They serve signature and classic coffee plus baked goods! I came on a Saturday late morning and the place was already filled with people. I ordered: The Valencia (iced) - this drink intrigued me for its chocolate orange ingredients. SUPER delicious and you get the hint of muddled orange after every sip. Highly recommendCoconut lime scone - soft with lots of toasted coconut, yum. The line goes pretty quick, but I will say waiting for the drink feels uncomfortably long due to them having to serve the sister restaurant. I think I waited almost 30 minutes for my coffee. So be wary of that if you're in a hurry. Other than that, I would totally come again to try their other signature drinks (like the Frida) and baked stuffs!

Took me longer to get my coffee than to get a haircut beforehand. It also cost me $8 for a small latte. It's sad when it's too expensive to support your local coffee shop. Tip...have more people working on a Saturday. I'll be going elsewhere next time.

Turlock is lucky to have this wonderful Mexican restaurant. It is fabulous. I had the Friday special of Pozole Verde. Big pieces of tender pork perfectly seasoned in a perfect broth. Served with radishes, cabbage. It was so good one person took 2 orders home. Wish I had too. The jicama salad was excellent. The special persimmon salad was so big I brought have of it home. Made a wonderful part of my dinner. This restaurant is special! Enjoy. Our table loved everything. The Chardonnay was very good. Wish my city had this restaurant. Lucky Turlock
