La Michoacana Plus - Visalia

Came here on a Thursday with friends and this place is actually super popular and busy. There are so many fun colors that make this such a fun and happy place, For the menu, there are so many options. It can be quite overwhelming. It's just like a regular ice cream shop where they have all the flavors lined up; you can either have them make something, you can get a scoop of ice cream, a fruit bar, or an ice cream bar. They also have snacks and mangonadas. I ordered the churro sundae which was so good! It was so sweet and tasty. It came with 3 churros, a scoop of ice cream, a drizzle of your choice, and some whipped cream. The churros were made fresh so when I bit into it, they were nice and warm. For the ice cream I got the tequila ice cream with almonds. The ice cream was really good and you can definitely taste the tequila flavor. It honestly tasted like a vanilla ice cream with a splash of tequila. There were also pieces of shredded almonds which gave the ice cream a nice texture. I really loved it. Everything was super good and I look forward to coming back and trying something new on the menu.

I love going to La Michoacana. There are multiple locations in LA and I always go to them whenever I'm nearby and craving a sweet treat. I stopped by this location when I was in Visalia for the weekend looking for an ice cream shop that opens past 8pm.We got two things- single scoop of tres leches flavored ice cream in a cup for about $2.50 and a mango flavored micheagua drink with fresh strawberries chunks in a tamarindo candy rimmed plastic cup for $7. The ice cream is a really good deal because of the portion you get for less than $3. However, the micheagua drink was a bit pricey for what you get as it's a really simple drink. Both ice cream and drink are tasty though and hit the spot after a heavy, greasy meal.Having been to La Michoacana many times elsewhere, I recommend the paletas and ice cream scoops because they have so many flavors to try and I never came across a bad one. The mangonada is great too if you love mangos.

Loved the little Mexican snacks and treats here. They ice cream flavors is like a baskin robbins 31 but Mexicana. All your childhood favorites are actual ice cream flavors which is cool. They have everything from elotes, tostilocos, bionicos etc. this location is a little bigger from others and offers more things. You can sample the agua Frescas and ice creams. Customer service is nice. Plenty of seating music is cranked up so not a place to converse. It's crowded at night time. We came here 3x in one week. Def worth trying.

Got a Mangoñada today. It was a medium size cup, but they don't fill it all the way up. It didn't taste bad, but I don't think I'll go back there. If you want a good Mangoñada, and don't mind the drive, go to Coco Loco in Tulare. You won't be disappointed. $7 for the medium. Not worth it in my opinion.

Costumer service was excellent! Worker answer any question ask! They had many flavors to choose from!

Mangonadas are.. *chefs kiss* . I've also gotten their Agua frescas and their elote (in a cup) super delicious. Generous servings for their price. Best in town.

The girls behind the counter wouldn't speak English to help us order, but the customers behind us they did. I am mexican that unfortunately doesnt speak spanish. They didn't help as far as letting us know what comes in the products we were ordering. They just spoke to us in Spanish and showed no patience to us not really knowing what to order. This was our first time here and sadly will be or last.

Loved my food but the girls upfront had rude stares and were talking about costumers in spanish. Not very appropriate but will definitely look forward to coming back to try something new.

Fruit is not fresh. Not what I was expecting from a shop like this. The fruit looks like it was frozen beforehand and the taste was not good.

Walked in expecting more . Only to find a poor menu , and only a selection of 4 aguas frescas . After asking it was told me those are what they normally carry . Plenty of ice cream to choose from but so does every other desert place. Nice vibrant colors and inside place but other then that I don't see a need to come back here if I wanted horchata I'd go to my favorite taco truck . As far as the strawberry lemonade I got well it's the same as every other place that sells the exact same stuff . Yeah by the cup you would guess I got it somewhere at the flea market
