Believe the reviews!! The carnitas really are that good. The staff really are that friendly.I was on a road trip and wanted some good Mexican food before I got too close to my home (Portland). This came up while I was passing through and I'm so glad I checked it out. Food came up fast and it was absolutely delicious. I will remember this place and make a point to swing by when I'm coming through.

The service was very good here once you could order. I did not like the carne asada at all it was cut up into little bits and then overcooked. The carnitas were good but not extraordinary. It was pretty cheap for tacos but it is in a pretty shady area of Fresno. I think the Mexican Mercado and meat market that has their own food might be a better place to go. Inside it looks like a little store with dim lighting.

I've had this spot bookmarked for awhile and it felt like I was back in mexico. The food was perfect and the salsa was great. They even provided me with the chili oil to make it even spicier. Perfect amount of tortillas were given instead of a small amount like everyone else. We got food for 3, bag of candies and a large drink for 30$ can't beat that. My daughter rarely finishes her burritos since she's so picky but she pretty much ate the whole thing. Don't come here and expect it to be fancy and you'll love it here. You have to get your own cups and serve your ice from a machine with a scoop but I didn't mind at all. I'll definitely come back

This place lacks signage, both *outside and in, making it difficult to find and mystifying to order take-out. Once located, the grungy outside appearance of the door and windows almost made me change my mind, but I forged ahead. In spite of the lack of menu pricing, I ordered a Chile Relleno & some Carne Asada tacos. Several cooks were busy in the open kitchen and my appetite was whetted watching whole fish being deep fried in one kettle and a jumbo Chile Relleno in another. When my order came up, I asked the teenage boy (family member?) where & who I pay. He spoke in Spanish to someone and then said $16, so I gave him a $20 and a $1. Rather than realizing I wanted a $5 back, he assumed it was a tip and thanked me. I decided to let it go (although I normally consider a $2 or $3 tip on take-out more reasonable). The Relleno coating batter was soggy but in tasty sauce, but the real disappointment was that the generous amount of cheese filling was not even warm, let alone melted and integrated. I appreciated the finely chopped asada on the tacos, with cilantro & (very few) grilled onions. The sauce, however, had an "off" taste (slightly burnt?) and worst of all, was served in a baggy (which leaked into the carry-out bag, of course) so it made a mess. (*Driving West on Belmont, look for the giant phone number along the top of the building's East side.) Overall, my opinion is: fair on the food, but failing on merchandising (signage & menus), tidiness and take-out packaging.

Lol where's the bread?? Okay but food is bomb every time we go. Food is authentic and affordable. It feels like home when you walk in and everyone is welcoming. You order as soon as you go in and they take like 10 minutes to get your food out. They're typically sold out from the carnitas and aguas frescas by the end of the day; so show up sooner for those. Just goes to show how delish they are.

Man this place is not the most aesthetically pleasing on the exterior or interior. This is the definition of a hole in the wall that is amazing. The service was like going to a distant Tia and cousin. They were super nice and made it feel chill and homey. We had frickin bomb food! I am so satisfied with the meat, green salsa, and fresh tortillas. My husband slurped that whole horchata DOWN
