Breakfast on a Saturday morning at 9:30AM.It wasn't too busy. There were 2 other couples dining in when we go there. The waitress brought out sample crab soups. It was pretty good. It had a tomato base with little pieces of imitation crab. She also brought out chips and salsa. Chips were fresh. They were warm and crispy. My boyfriend ordered the chilaquiles and I ordered a scramble. Both meals were pretty good. Then after, we got crepes and ice cream. Overall, food was good and service was great. Waitress went above and beyond to give the other couple their card after they left and forgot it. She also had the leftover food that the other couple forgot and came back to get. We'll definitely be back again to try dinner next time.

They open in the place that use to be Lupian's. They have a lot of Nayarit style cooking and plenty of mariscos dishes. It's so incredibly good!!! Chips are freshly made and my mom would approve of their salsa.

Husband and I went to La Hacienda for lunch the other day. I ordered Garlic Shrimp and he ordered Carnitas. The food smelled delicious and looked so good. I was almost finished with my plate with about three shrimps left. That's when I saw a hair on one of the shrimps. That ended that! Brought it to the attention of two waitresses there. They apologized and you would have thought they would give a discount at least-no they did not. Not going back, for sure. Very disappointed with the restaurant.

Finally found some decent Mexican food in Merced! There are tons of Mexican restaurants but nothing that has authentic flavors- La Hacienda offers that! I ordered a mixed molcajete with handmade tortillas and a huarache. The molcajete easily feeds two people and the flavor is amazing! The huarache was nicely portioned and the al pastor was tender & flavorful. My only negative comment is that there were multiple dirty tables when I walked in. There were only 2 servers and 6 parties so that could have contributed. Overall, I really enjoyed my dining experience and I will definitely return.

Terrible service it took more than 45 minutes to get my pozole. And I know it was old. So they only have to warm it up. But it only take a few minutes to do that.

The food was good can't complain on the food. It was the service for my wife and I. We asked for a certain dish and when they brought out our dish it was what we asked for but with so much extra stuff and some weird sauce and we asked for just a fried fish and asked if it could go back and just bring us a regular fried fish they brought us back the same dish just removed the extra stuff and sauce. When we said can we get a new fish the server that returned our plate rolled her eyes and just re dipped the same fish in oil and just brought it back out. We had to still wait 20 min after our food was served for our handmade tortillas. At that point I was done eating there and what topped it off was when we paid they double charged us the appetizer and I said that's a double charge she just said oh well we just go based off the system my wife paid and we just left. Never again !
