La Dama Salon

It's really something special when you find your people. I was looking to find a new stylist to keep up with my vivids. I found Alyssa via Instagram and booked an appointment. She was so attentive and patient with all my hair care needs and put a lot of work into color correcting my hair, making sure all my needs were met and I left with the color results I wanted. I'm beyond happy and grateful for her.

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at your salon. While I appreciate the effort put into my haircut, I must express my disappointment with the final result. Unfortunately, the technique used did not align with what I had expected, and it ultimately didn't suit my hair type.I came in with a clear idea of the haircut I wanted, and while I understand that challenges can arise, I was hoping for a better outcome. The execution fell short of my expectations, leaving me feeling dissatisfied with the overall experience. I Trusted the stylist, when finished she did not style my hair which what a standard haircut comes with. I asked but she said that she had no time as she had scheduled someone else. I decided to just leave at that point she also asked me if she could fix anything. I said no as I didn't want my haircut any shorter. I believe there might have been a miscommunication regarding the style or perhaps a misunderstanding of my hair type. I was confident that the haircut I requested was within the realm of possibility for my hair, yet the end result proved otherwise.Moving forward, I would encourage a closer attention to detail and a deeper understanding of clients' hair types and preferences. Clear communication throughout the process is key to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Poor communication. Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for 12pm appointment time. Then received 2 texts the days prior to the appointment day stating the appointment time was now at 2pm. I arrived on the appointment date at 2pm, waited for an hour before being told the appointment was at 12pm...the hair dresser didn't even come out to discuss with me during the entire hour because she was busy. Was told to wait another 5 minutes to speak with her, I did, still no show or anything. Left very frustrated.

Beautiful and clean salon. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. Arrived with damaged dry hair.....left with a beautiful soft balayage. Favorite new salon.

I'm going to admit it publicly... I'm a box dye kinda gal . (There's a stylist out there somewhere in the world who just passed out from me saying that). I know I KNOW... it's horrible for you BUT it's just convenient, ya know? It's like frozen chicken nuggets-fast, cheap, convenient, and horrible for you. It gets the job done event though it's temporary. Ok so what brought me to this moment? I had always talked about getting my hair done with my girl Jess. Jess and I go way back and she LOVES La Dama. She's goes way back with them. She gave me contacts for hair but right when I would think about booking, that box dye just whispers "I'm 2 for $14 at Target, Sis!" and I would put the phone down in a trance and go to Target. My hair was sad, lackluster. I think my dog's coat is better than mine. Anyway, so Jess plans this "girls trip" and we magically end up at the new La Dama salon that's in The Row. I'm thinking, oh she probably just needs to get a touch up, I'll just wait. NOPE! She was like, Happy Birthday & Merry Christmas B****! (She didn't add that last word. I added it for exaggeration because it was like a mic drop moment). So FIRST, damn this place is nice!!! It's so chic and incredibly decorated. Jessika (owner and not the "Jess" mentioned above LOL) is so nice!!!! Her and Evelin had their work cut out for them with my hair. You'll be proud though, because I switched to Olaplex 3 weeks prior to this happening so I got a little win in LOL (still ashamed of my box dye). Hair coloring is such a PROCESS. It's legit chemistry with color and it's so dope to watch. They'll be like "yea let's do a 4N and a 5C" (I made up those numbers off of slight recall but IYKYK). I was in and out of the chair for 2-3 hours maybe? I have so much more respect for stylists and am so humbled by the entire experience because each persons hair is different and has a different template. The ability to look at hair and know what a client wants would give me anxiety. When I was finished, my hair looked straight out of Pinterest. I think the first thing out of my mouth was "Oh damn"Hear me: I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE BOX. A little louder for those in the back: DROP YOUR BOX DYE, SIS!I made my touch up appointment with Evelin for January and I couldn't be any happier. I think what really did it for me, besides the fabulous hair, is that the women here are GENUINE. I felt cared for and they engaged it in meaningful conversation that made you feel at ease - Like you were talking to an old friend. Small businesses make me happy and women owned business just make my heart smile.

I went to La Dama for the first time and Stacey was amazing! She did a great job at making me feel comfortable and made me feel beautiful when I left. She did a cut and color match because I had some very old blonde in my hair and wanted to go back to my natural color. I have never been so happy with my hair. I got so many compliments!

I love La Dama Salon! I have had nothing but the best service with them. Last year, I was about to get married and my eyebrows desperately needed to be re-mircobladded. I had been going to another shop and they completely let me down by not being able to do the service prior to my wedding. I was absolutlely devistated, but thankfully I was able to meet with Brenda Zelaya from La Dama and she set me back on track for my big day. Brenda is an amazing artist who made me feel like her #1 priority and was able to transform my brows into the sophisticated look I had been searching for. Thanks to Brenda I looked just how I envisioned for my wedding. And since, I have received so many compliments on the brow shape/ color and overall look of my facial appreance (I swear I look younger!!!). I highly, highly, highly recommend going to her!!!

Been going to see Jessika for years now and have always loved the outcome every time I leave. Great communication and she can always fit me in for an appointment. Such a lovely salon and friendly community with great services would recommend!

I booked with my Stylist Alyssa and she Took Care of Me So Well! I made an appointment online; She was great at communicating and helping me decide what would be the best option for my virgen hair. I got a Balayage, Cut and Style and left feeling like the best version of myself! I absolutely recommend the La Dama Salon, it is beautiful and welcoming. Book with Alyssa and you will absolutely enjoy the visit.

I AmSpeechless My sister kept recommending. I set up a hair appointment at La Dama and I cannot put into words how amazing I feel. I have been wearing the same hair color for over 10 years because I was afraid of change but as a woman we need to step into the fear of discomfort and let me tell you Jessika and Jordan made me feel like $1 million dollars. They took their time with me and made every moment feel luxurious. I felt like I was the only client in the salon. My hair feels so soft & so beautiful. I've gotten three compliments from just walking from the salon to the parking lot. Ladies, you're ready for a change. This is your sign - La DAMA salon! I Feel Unstoppable. I Feel Vibrant.
