I want to give them one star just to keep you away so we can have it to ourselves.Nice place, atmosphere & staff.Food is always great & prices aren't too bad. They make old town Riverbank look good.

We were in Riverbank to catch a movie at their IMAX theater and decided to grab a bite after. I looked for restaurants in the area and this little gem popped up. After reading all the reviews we decided to give it a try.So glad we trusted those reviews as the food was so good!! First off, this is a very small restaurant with only about 8 tables inside and a few outside. It's very quaint if on a date, very nice that it is small. The staff is very attentive and was constantly checking on us.We had the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were so good and fresh tasting. They have wonderful rolls, seems like it is the same dough that they use for their pizzas. They were hot, fresh and very light.We both had the chicken parmigiana with red skinned mashed potatoes. They served winter veggies with the meal and everything was so good and flavorful.Again, the staff was very attentive and made sure we had enough rolls and beverages throughout our meal. The wait for our food was reasonable and you could tell it was made fresh.We definitely will be coming back and trying other items from their menu.

I went here for Valentine's Day, and everything was great. The food was excellent I had the lamb (rack), and the service was fantastic! And had guests with us. They were not disappointed

This place is a hidden gem. The pictures here do not do this place justice. From the outside, I thought this place was run down and not a likely place for tasty Italian food. AL CONTRARIO, inside, this place is a very intimate and inviting place! I came in for a pick-up order of coconut shrimp and eggplant parmesan. The server was super nice and engaging. Food was DELICIOUS! I know of few other places that can do eggplant parmesan as well as they do. I also ordered the fettucine alfredo along with the eggplant as delivery on another occasion. Again.....really delicious. I'll have a plan a date night here.

Update! Went tonight for a Valentine's Dinner. We actually had a babysitter so it was a rare, kid free date. I asked to sit outside, and it was perfect! They turned the heaters on, it was so cozy. The waiter and waitress were VERY attentive, and very nice. The food as always was excellent! We splurged for date night and ordered drinks and appetizers with dinner. I had a special Valentine's Day drink and it was delicious. Which is also rare because I don't usually drink alcohol. Pretty sure they have the best chicken fettuccini Alfredo around here! Love having this little gem right in our backyard. As usual, we will be back! Thank you so much for a fun date night.

Treat customers or potential customers with respect! No Adult seating, tables are too small to seat couples comfortably.For a hole in the wall needing reservations when there's plenty of room.

My wife and I went for a late lunch and tried this place for the first time yesterday. When I called to inquire about reservations and attire, Jaime answered the phone and explained that reservations were not needed but recommended in the 5pm and later hours. We arrived at about 2:30 pm and the place had a couple of tables occupied. This is a small, nice place, and the ambiance at the time of our visit was very quiet, which was refreshing.Jaime was our server, and he was a true gentleman. Very attentive and welcoming. Inside the place was very clean and also welcoming. The restrooms were spotless and free of any lingering foul odors. All-in-all, the kind of cleanliness you expect when dining out.My wife ordered the Seafood Pasta 5/5 and said, "It was delicious." She also kept trying to get me to try it. I ordered the Cioppino 5/5, and admittedly, this is only the second time ever having Cioppino, so I don't have a strong sample size to compare it to. I do know that the first time I tried it at another restaurant, it was way more runny and not a whole lot of seafood. This time, there were plenty of scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams, and salmon. The Broth was thicker and full of garlic onion and other things unknown that made it thicker and made the flavors pop.Our appetizer consisted of the Calamari Fritti 5/5, which was perfectly cooked. Although there seemed to be a bit more filler of other ingredients (veggies), which lessened the amount of actual Calamari, but it was still delicious. The complimentary rolls 5/5, that came with our meals were the absolute BOMB! I can't remember the last time I had dinner rolls at a restaurant this good.All-in-all, we enjoyed our dining experience here and will be back to try other menu items. If our meals are any indication of the popularity of this place, come early, or make a reservation. The attire is casual, btw.

I saw this place on Yelp and wanted to try it out. I went with a friend and we shared half of eachothers sandwiches so we could try more things.We also got a coconut shrimp appetizer. It was ok. Not bad, not great. I'm not too sure what the dipping sauce was exactly, and I'm not sure if it improved the taste. Both sandwiches were equally decent. Not bad, not great. The bread is the same thing. Not bad, not great.The fries were good, but they are literally identical to Jack in a box curly fries. Which isn't bad, but it's also not greatThe mango lemonade was good, and I would order it again I plan to go back and try other items I think will hopefully improve the experience I was hoping for.They have this flaming cheese I wanted to try that I saw on a cooking show before. I want to be in love with this place. But so far, just another Italian restaurant

Food was ok. Calamari was crisp and well flavored the dip was also very good. The fresh bread rolls were delicious the best part! The house salad was very good lettuce was crisp and yummy. The bruschetta was ok not that great. Chicken parm was cooked well and tasted good. The chicken Alfredo was not good the chicken was very dry and over cooked the noodles and sauce were very watery not much flavor which was disappointing, especially because it took quite a while to receive our meals. The service was ok the waitress was nice. The ambiance was ok also it is a very small restaurant.

Nice cozy place with delicious entrees. I imagine that's what an Italian home cooked meal tastes like. Highly recommend. Service was very good.
