Krispy Krunchy Chicken

If you don't know what to expect, just know that their chicken beats out the national heavyweights, in terms of fried chicken. The crisp is on point, the spice has enough zip to remind you that your taste buds enjoy being tantalized, and the chicken aren't some awkward size. This particular location has good customer service. I don't think they have seating like some other joints, and they are lacking on the sides. Another concern to note is that they cook throughout the day, so if they were bum rushed just previous to your arrival, you may have to wait 5-15 minutes.

Similar to most reviews I saw, I was hesitant to try gas station chicken but it was worth the try! By the time it took me to fill a tank of gas, my husband was already walking out with a box of piping hot chicken! Staff was helpful in answering our questions, we thought the mixed would have chicken breast but found out they don't sell chicken breast anymore. The chicken meat itself was really good, 10/10 moist and flavorful. The batter is thin and very crispy but some bites were just too salty for me. I'd be down to grab this once in a while when I'm craving though!

I've been wanting to try this place for years and finally found myself in the position to do so. The menu was not absolutely clear, so the young lady behind the counter was quite helpful in explaining things. I ended up with a family meal that included fried chicken pieces, chicken strips, potato wedges, and biscuits.Everything was delicious. The chicken was well seasoned and moist. The potato wedges and chicken strips were crisp and tasty, and the biscuits were sweet and buttery. I was really impressed, and the price was right. All things considered, this will be the place i go to for fried chicken from now on.

Never thought I would enjoy gas station fried chicken. So, don't judge until you try it!

Love, love, love their wings. Costs more, but well worth the price. Service was good. Wings always fresh if u don't mind the short wait.

Fast and affordable good tasty non greasy fried chicken sold in a gas station Bad Bud's. Good service staff. Chicken still taste great overnight and the crunchiness and seasoning is done right! Sides like mash potatoes available too, honey biscuits or blueberry biscuits.

Taste is great and employees vey nice and patient. Only down side is finding the right number. I often get the corporate office instead of Herndon/cedar location.

So good PERIOD. Jambalaya, red beans and rice, fried chicken, biscuits wings all , so good, they are missing the hot boiled peanuts though.

Been in the area for 17 years and never stopped at any Krispy Krunchy Chicken. I admit, the only other gas station I stop at for food is the Mobil in Lee Vining (amazingly good for a gas station, BTW).Visited at 1030am. Husband had an appointment, so I roamed around in the meantime. I have to admit, this chicken is really good! There's no line and at $6.47 for 4 tenders, 2 sauces, and a little biscuit, out the door. Why wouldn't I rate it 5 stars?! Albeit, it's salty for me, but that's how I'm made. It's not really super Cajun with the spice, but the tenders were crispy, crunchy,, hot, fresh, tender, and exceeded expectation! Not overly battered like some places and btter than any tenders you'll get in the frozen section. Not gonna lie, I don't discriminate when it comes to tasty fried chicken, but this place tastes better than Addendum next to AD Hoc in Yountville (sorry, Thomas Keller... I know you gave my husband an internship decades ago, but we like your other food more)!

Lady named Hellen works there and she has this power trip I guess. She was rude and told me they can't take 100 dollar bills at a gas station. I was very excited to eat there. It's my favorite place to get chicken. But I will not buy from there as long as Hellen works there. This place used to have nice workers there. I have no idea what happened.
