Kingsburg Super Market

Swung in here when in town one day to grab a cold drink - it is conveniently located to old downtown and offers street and lot parking.This market reminds me of the local markets I grew up with in Northern California, before Safeway and the likes forced so many to close. I like the small scale, with a lot of what you need and not extra variety to distract you. Who needs 100 flavors of cereal, or soda? This place offers a small meat counter (featuring Harris Ranch, well know for its meats! along with a great pre-packaged section of other products. There is a good sized produce section, offering lots of local fruits and vegetables, and the usual cases for dairy, beers, beverages and such.They also feature a small deli in the front far corner, with a dozen or so hot food options. and they also have a choice of ice cream at the ice cream counter!They also offer specialty items, like large piñatas for those special birthdays, and they also cut keys. Very old school, but again, just what you need - not what advertisers tell you you need!The staff was very friendly and as I looked around I was asked not once but twice if I needed assistance! I either looked really out of place, or they know how to support the customers. I hope it's the latter! I did find a treat for me - a flavored milk! They had traditionally flavors but also banana and orange milks in small glass bottles, by Rosa Brothers milk company. I went with orange and it was ice cold and sooooo good!The checkout staff were friendly as well, and it was nice not to see 10 self check-out stands. How I long for those days . . . best wishes this market can keep its presence here in Kingsburg!

Thought I'd give this store another chance, but nevermore. The checker did not have a mask on, and I had to ask her to put one on. She didn't even have one nearby, had to walk to other part of store to get one. I'm a medical social worker in the hospital and in homes and see coronavirus patients. The disregard for other people's health care was appalling. I trued Kingsburg Supermarket a few months ago, no masks, sanitizers, or wipes to clean cart. I want to support local business, but Kingsburg Supermarket is not one to support.

ATTENTION "OUT-OF-TOWNERS" stay away, don't waste your time. I went in to get a few "tall boys" for this hot day. The cashier asked for my I.D. Which I happily handed him, he gave it back and asked if I had anything else, to which I ask why? Then he said he can't accept an out of state license.... wtf.... okay... so I said I have my passport and he said "I don't know how to tell what's fake and what's not." ?????? EDUCATE YOUR EMPLOYEES. We are staying down the street at the Rv park, here for work. I know a lot of people in the park with out of state I.D.sNOT EVERYONE IN THIS STATE LIVES HERE. So I went down the street to save mart where they happily took my out of state license. I won't be wasting my time stopping here again. I recommended you don't either.

I always come here to do my shopping now! They have everything I need and the staff is great. I love the deli. My husband and I usually order the chimichangas, but if we're feeling Chinese food I order broccoli beef with fried rice. My husband loves the spicy chicken (or spicy beef, I can't remember) with chow mien.

Always come here for their awesome meet specials. The workers are extremely helpful and friendly! I try to support them any way I can.

They have butchers, a good size produce department, a in store deli, lots of parking...but what makes this store is its staff. Being friendly and helpful goes a long way and this store staff provides plenty of both.

Love our little neighborhood market! Friendly service, fabulous produce, harris ranch beef, and a great little deli that serves the best Chinese food! It feels good to support local businesses.

I stopped in here to pick up a few items as I don't like the big stores. It was very clean and the prices were competitive. Produce was super fresh! I will be back!

1. Worst price/quality store I have seen.2. Worst peaches (tasteless) I have ever had.3. Advertised products are not in stock.4. Meats look so bad, I would ever touch them5. Deli is ok.

The best place for Chinese food! Made fresh everyday. The veggies and Chiles used in the meats are always cooked to perfection.
