I am still so in love with my bathroom! Keystone was able to give me exactly what I wanted without knowing what I wanted. I had a family member recommend Vivian and her team since they were amazed with her work ethic. After talking to her on the phone, she came over and listened to me. She had prompting questions what allowed me to understand what would be best for me and my budget. She was able to get the cabinets, flooring and accents quickly. The quality of the bathroom was more than I expected. She was able to stay under budget yet my bathroom looks twice as much. My sister in law even comments that she could spend an hour in the bathroom! Finally, her team which included Paco was very professional. Always asking me where I wanted the fixtures to be and so forth. I can't wait for Keystone to finish my entire house.

I just finished my kitchen remodel with the assistance of Keystone Residential Design. They were great! They provided loads of ideas, samples and most of all were there for me every step of the way. The kitchen turned out beautiful. Pictures of it (Hacienda) are on their Facebook page. There are even before pictures. I'm so happy with my new kitchen. Thanks Keystone. I would recommend them.

We remodeled our kitchen with Keystone. Working with them was a pleasant experience. Vivian and Sonia helped us through the whole process. They were very communicative and kept us up to date on where the project was at Their workers were friendly and did a good job installing cabinets and countertops. They also took precautions to make sure our house was kept as clean as possible while project was on going. After completion they have been responsive as well. We found some small issues that needed fixing as we started using kitchen. We contacted keystone and they sent someone out to repair fairly quickly. Overall we would recommend them.

It will be difficult to capture the exact experience my wife and I had with Vivian Sojo and Keystone Kitchen and Bath during our proposed kitchen remodel due to yelp's character limit for reviews. But I will try my best to both be fair to Vivian as well as accurately portray our frustrations with her, which ultimately lead to Vivian cancelling our project and keeping our 1500 dollar deposit. A couple of mistakes I made were not getting anything in writing about what services were covered by the deposit prior to paying it, and also not getting other contractors to come and bid the job. I later found out that a local company could make and install the same style cabinets that Vivian sells for 14K less than she was charging me.That being said, initially Vivian was very pleasant to deal with. She responded to my questions, and really tried hard to get our kitchen design in place before the new year so we wouldn't be subject to a 5% price increase from Lectus/Merit (she is dealer of their cabinets). However the first major red flag occurred when she came to do her final measurements and presented us with the first official estimate for the job. Using all Merit cabinets her quote was about 56K. Using mostly Lectus cabinets and three Merit cabinets (due to my request for three pull out cutting boards which is apparently custom and Merit only), it was almost 48K. When we had first met, she told me that she could do this job with a budget of 30K, not including appliances. You can imagine my surprise when the bill came in at almost double our budget with no ability to get my deposit back. The second major red flag occurred after her contractor determined a wall we were going to remove couldn't be fully removed like he had initially said. Vivian took it upon herself to radically redesign the kitchen around a 6x6 post that would now replace the wall. When my wife and I decided it wasn't practical for our small space, we could tell she seemed frustrated by our decision. After this, she was reluctant to make a minor modification to her original design that accounted for the partial wall removal and post saying "it won't look good". When I pushed her, she said that she understands that I feel uneasy about the remodel (which was not the case), and that it usually doesn't take this long to move forward. She then went on to say that she had already done numerous layouts (2 total) for me and to take my time to reflect on those, and that she wants to make sure we are a good fit and aren't wasting each other's time. For me, this came straight out of left field. Her contractor screwed up, she gets an idea of her own volition and completely redesigns the kitchen, then when we don't choose it decides we may not be a good fit??? This interaction really soured things between her and I because it made me feel hesitant to ask her about any modifications to the kitchen design - which if I'm not mistaken is what I had paid her 1500 dollars for. She eventually gave in and made the slight modification, but things were never the same after that. Her communication became less frequent, and we could tell she wasn't prioritizing our project. Eventually, when I confronted her about this, she cancelled our project and kept our deposit without fully finishing the design. There were numerous other issues along the way, such as forgetting key project details after discussing them on multiple occasions, an incredible amount of typos in her communications, forgetting to send or sending the wrong email attachments, not providing us the information or samples we requested by the deadlines stated, not answering or only partially answering questions - even at one point saying she has "large projects from the Bay Area to LA" and just doesn't have the time. Our lasting impression after the four month experience is that she is passive aggressive, generally unorganized, frequently rushed, late on her deadlines and sloppy in her attention to detail. We cannot in good conscience recommend her to anyone.

It will probably be ok for a Tract homes but not for custom. Basically the owner is like a broker who just sublet the order to different installer. The workmanship is very ordinary and very poor follow up and no pride in ownership. I spent more than $25k with her but for simple repair or follow up to adjustment and fixing the problem, it was a big hassle. There is minimum flexibility with installation and more importantly just no backup of what they do. So you are at your own luck after the installation.

My parents moved into a condo and Mom was not happy with the state of the kitchen. Pop and I decided to get it before we really had any options in place. My parents had gotten a quote from Home Depot, but when we went back to see about install, they gave us a ridiculous timeline, they wouldn't start for 6-8 weeks. I was freaking out as Mom had no kitchen. I did some research and reached out to Keystone. Vivian's service was super quick, she and Paco got to work right away. The design of the kitchen was exactly what Mom wanted, and done right at budget. The material and build quality are fantastic and we couldn't be happier with the service and dedication Vivian and her team provided. I highly recommend Keystone for any of the remodel needs.

I'm pretty easy going and it started out great...Vivian was quick to respond and told me what I needed and what she could offer. I was impressed, because how fast she said it could be done within 2 weeks and she could begin immediately. She said she has a warehouse where the cabinets would be put together so her guys would come in and just put them in. She was full of promises and let me know it will look amazing and be left clean when the job was complete. She let me know her staff works slow but does great work. She finally worked out the numbers with my adjustor and called and said she could be out the next day. GREAT??? Throughout the whole entire project, everyone was constantly late except for Jeff who was there only a few times and he worked under her head guy. After about a week, I expressed my frustration that her guys were always several hours late and sometimes never showed up, or showed up and worked about an hour and left. She appeared irritated that I would even mention that to her. Almost everyday, I would text her asking if her guys were going to show up since they weren't there at the scheduled time...sometimes I would get a late response followed with an excuse on why the men are going to be late or not show up. Without even asking, her crew was always using everything from paper towels, broom, dust pans, bath towels, cleaning supplies, wet wipes, etc. they were never prepared and it was an added expense for my family. Sadly, we started having to hide things from them to prevent them from using our stuff without asking. One of her guys even had the nerve to say, "Most clients say we can eat anything in the refrigerator and freezer." He even asked me what's for dinner and I looked at him and he left because it was dinner time and never returned. She was having other clients cabinets shipped to our home. And guess what, there was no warehouse to assemble the cabinets, they get assembled at your home in the front yard...yep, that causes a huge mess that you are left to clean. Oh by the way, make sure you have plenty of room in your trash cans, because although they get paid to remove the mess from your home, it winds up in your trash and if it all doesn't fit they will stop your garbage man and ask him to take it. The guys will leave boxes and trash all over your front yard. When the cabinets were put on, two days later we were going to start putting dishes in them, 2 doors feel off. She appeared to not even care anymore about the job; I told her and she said, cabinets swell and that can happen, it's not my guys fault. I'm sorry but it's a controlled climate and the temperature doesn't change that quick in 2 days to have the doors swell and fall off. Here is the best part, her head guy pulled along the side of the road and got oranges to eat on his way from picking up a shower he was going to install when he reached my home. He came in the door helped me get a bee out of my house and asked to use the bathroom. When he was finished, he began explaining to me that he sh*t his pants on the way over to my house and went in the bathroom and cleaned his pants the best he could. He proceeded to tell me he used the wipes in the bathroom to clean around where he had been. He told me I needed to light a match or candle in the bathroom and not to go in it anytime soon because it is bad. I was so upset. I asked him why he didn't go home and clean himself then come back. He said he lives 30 minutes away and said he is embarrassed. I said, "So embarrassed you would rather tell me the story, not stop off in a McDonalds or Walmart but clean yourself in my home?" Filthy!!! The floors had wipe marks where he had wiped his mess. I asked him if he wanted to wash his hands and he said, "no, I'm leaving now." You just cleaned up poop and you don't want to wash your hands?? I called Vivian and told her what happened and she said she would send someone out that day to disinfect the bathroom...never happened. Her guys didn't want to paint so my family ended up having to paint the walls because she couldn't find anyone. No attention to detail was made. Finally, my daughter started saying I will fix, touch up, paint, etc. because she just wanted to go home and she knew they wouldn't do it...my daughter began fixing the house because they wouldn't complete jobs. I told her someone needs to clean the bathroom her guy was in and she said she would come over and sweep. I told her absolutely not it needs to be disinfected. She claims 3 different people would come over but all 3 different people backed out of the job. When she was trying to locate one of the cleaners I offered to call and she gave me a voicemail number. This 2 week job took over a month and I am still waiting for her guy to complete the job. I would NEVER recommend her! If you decide to go with her, be prepared to have to pay additional fees or she will stop work if she doesn't get it. (See Photos)
