We have had 2 kids at Kepler for over 5 years. Kepler has gone through a lot of change in that season, but through it all we have had teachers that care and a place that is trying to provide the best education it can for students that don't have access to other educational options. I feel confident in the new administration and would encourage you to check it out if you want to learn more.

Kepler was an amazing school a couple years ago. There has been very high staff turnover and a priority on social media optics as opposed to taking to steps to empower and support the children. Administration seems concerned with appearances and the teachers appear ewr unhappy now. Concerns brought to the board and principal are brushed off and no follow up appears to happen on concerns when they are brought up. At this point in time I would not recommend Kepler to other families.

The school feels very family oriented. The class sizes are small, and the teachers are very caring. There are many activities available for students and for parents too.

We've been at Kepler for 5 years. All three of our children love their school and are excited to go learn everyday. I love the teachers and their commitment to teaching. One of the reasons we chose Kepler was the culture of inclusion. My daughter with cranio-facial difference has never faced bullying or unkindess at Kepler. In the past 5 years, Kepler has gone through a season of admin transition which left many families frustrated, but in this past year, I have seen more stability and feel like we're on a good path as a school.

With a 4th and 1st grader and 2 more kids coming in we have LOVED our experience at Kepler. It is a small school environment where the teachers know most of the kids there. Our boys have felt welcomed and have enjoyed their teachers and classmates.

I will be name a concern mom. In 2014 I relocated from San Diego CA to be closer to my elderly father that resides in San Jose. My daughter who was unfortunately was removed from her home school where her grades and report cards were amazing, she was always happy and always smiling. I obviously brought her with me and I was searching for the perfect school. I left it up to the good Lord to guide me. I found the school Kepler indoor/security/orientation was great I had to wait 3 months for her name to be called so she could attend Kepler Neighborhood School. Well to get straight to the point. Her first year was great her 5th grade teacher was amazing. I started noticing odd behavior little did I know my daughter was being bullied by older girls. Over and over at school and on Instagram. It was brought to the front office attendants several occasions please keep an eye out for my daughter. A lot of change is going on the whole time she was afraid. Me being a single mom working and trusting I was leaving her in good hands at a closed school with good security and smaller classrooms.Kids were practicing gang activities, also cutting themselves, boyfriends/girlfriends, on Instagram these kids where posting smoking marijuana. The principle is failing to protect our children. False accusations were made against my daughter by 7th graders saying that she was a cutter and that she was sexually abused by her father that does not live in our home. Can you imagine 3 hours of interrogation for a child without her mother? She was scared sad and didn't know what was going on. Well now my daughter is seeking therapy in a home school scared to go back to public school because she is terrified she is going to be bullied again. The principle knew that all of this was going on and she failed to protect my daughter and knew in her heart that all of the accusations were not true.God Bless you and your children. Please look at what your children re doing online and check their Instagram's and always question them about what they are posting.Sincerely a mother that loves her daughter.

My daughter is currently in Kindergarten at Kepler Neighborhood School, and I am very happy with the school. The learning model and curriculum is challenging but reasonable and my daughter is learning complex concepts and is able to apply them to real life situations. There was a situation where my daughter felt uncomfortable with a classmate who was teasing her and the teacher was quick to address the situation with the child and then with the entire class. My daughter is confident that her teacher is someone she can go to if anything ever made her uncomfortable. When I had concerns or interest in certain things, the staff was willing to listen and help in any way possible. I really love Kepler.
