Karlitas Carniceria Y Taqueria

Food is always amazing! I have ordered DoorDash from here many times! The Carne Asada is the best in town, no fat or chewy parts ever! My favorite items are the Super Nachos and the carne asada tacos, or also the birria tacos.

This is a Mexican grocery, carniceria, and taco shop all mixed into one. The grocery section offers unique bagged spices, bottle hot sauces, fresh tortillas, and even medicine from across the border. I lived in San Diego for a long time and this place is giving me all of the SD vibes that I didn't know I was missing. I've been here twice now. My first time here I ordered the surf and turf burrito and it was massive. Filled with tons of beans, rice, huge tender chunks of steak, and lots of enormous shrimp. The flavors are on point here, but I think they add too much sauce or juice to the burritos. The burritos tend to fall apart towards the end. The same thing happened to my Machaca breakfast burrito( way too much juice from the beans. Messy, but still delicious! They made their own guac and sell it in tubs and it's totally worth it! Super fresh and filled with chopped onion and tomato. I sent my kids quesadilla and not only was this thing large enough to use as a sale for a boat, it was also completely gobble up by my children. They are picky eaters and absolutely loved this! There's a small area inside for seating and outdoor shaded patio which is perfect for sipping a beer and snacking on some tacos during the upcoming warm summer nights, This will continue to be our go to spot for tacos or burritos when the mood strikes. I love this little hidden gem! The menu is pretty simple and no fluff. My favorite part is that you can order online. This helps so much because the line to order instead the restaurant is usually very long. I usually order either the 2 taco combo or a chicken burrito.

The quality of the meat in the market is very nice and reasonably priced. You receive help by the the butcher quickly and is helpful. But the help at the counters is slow, and the personnel is unfriendly and if you ask a simple question about a product you're buying, they don't know and they don't offer to find out. The wait in line is long. And don't go to pick up anything on Christmas Eve, even if you've paid in advance because they make you wait behind the people ordering and the line is out the door.

Karlitas in Clovis has quickly become one of my favorite spots for authentic Mexican cuisine. Every visit is a delightful experience, and I've tried several of their menu items, but my absolute favorites are their bean and cheese burritos, sopes (chile verde), and menudo. Each dish has a unique twist that sets it apart from the usual fare, making them incredibly delicious and memorable.The bean and cheese burritos are a comforting classic, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sopes are a standout with their crispy yet tender base, topped generously with fresh ingredients. And the menudo--wow! It has a distinctive flavor that's different from any I've ever had, but it's so good that it's now my go-to order.Service at Karlitas has always been fine. Whether you choose to sit inside or on the patio, you'll find a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, Karlitas is a taqueria and offers a selection of different types of meats you can purchase to prepare your own delicious meals at home. This option adds an extra layer of convenience and quality to their offerings.If you're in Clovis and looking for a fantastic place to enjoy some amazing Mexican food, I highly recommend Karlitas. You won't be disappointed!

Service excellent. Asada fries were good. We've had better. Atmosphere is great. I had an asada super burrito and it was very good. We just think asada fries would be better with pico

Got Albondigas soup. Soup had two whole peppers in it. Now I like spicy food but this was so spicy it burnt my lips. Called and was told well our Albondigas is not spicy. They did not care. Will not order again. Husbands Torta was soggy.

We came on a weekday, late afternoon and thankfully it was empty. This be place reminds me of a hole in the wall type and I'll admit we weren't too sure at first. Tacos immediately were very good! So I knew the sope would be too. I wasn't sure if it was because the place was empty as to why everything was so fresh, but I went back again today (a week-ish later) for Menudo because I'm a menudo connoisseur and let's face it, I don't need to be hungover to have menudo ‍ Anyways, I did a DoorDash order for pickup. Along with 2 breakfast burritos. Menudo did NOT disappoint, add in homemade corn tortillas?! CHEFS KISS!! And let me tell you the place was BUSY! My food was still hot and fresh regardless so for that I am very grateful. New menudo spot has been found

This place is always busy and there is a good reason for it! I've had their tacos, ceviche, breakfast burrito. shrimp cocktail, and super burrito. I have never had something from here that I didn't really enjoy! Place is always clean and staff is always friendly and working hard. If you are pressed for time, I highly recommend ordering on their app ahead of time.

My family and I have always enjoyed the food here. We personally love their shrimp tacos, they are always fresh and perfectly seasoned. My only complaint is they have become a little too expensive in my opinion.
