Kabab Twist

My daughter door dashed us salads from here and they were so delicious. I only review places if they are worth reviewing and this place is great. I came with my husband and grandson and ate inside and the food and service was wonderful. It's quiet and relaxing. The owner is very nice and accommodating. It's clean and spacious. It's at the end of the little village mall.

The chef is unfriendly and refused to serve me. He said he was not making any more food for the night and the restaurant was still open. Will not return.

Service was decent and the kid working was nice. However, the food was borderline inedible. $30 plate of rice smothered in a God awful floral seasoning and a tiny serving of overcooked and, again over seasoned chicken. The meager bits of fajita vegetables didn't help the presentation or my palate. I am about to start driving back down the 99. I sure hope I don't defecate my pants because I'm fairly certain the garlic sauce is used to degrease engines and remove paint from concrete.

We've always had a good experience. The food is great and portions are good. We recommend Kabab Twist!

Nice, new (as of mid-'23) little place inside Village Mall in downtown Kingsburg, where there are also some cute gift, children's, and garden shops. This is counter ordering with limited seating in the area and a little more in the mall hallway - quiet for our weekday lunch but might be less so when busy. No problem - just take out, because the food is worth it.I had a chicken shawarma plate so tasty I didn't even need the garlic sauce, and the pilaf was light and fluffy. My companions enjoyed their gyro and chicken wraps, the latter having a little spice kick. Side salads were nothing out of the ordinary, but side French fries were plentiful. The counter worker (possibly the owner) was helpful and attentive.It's a little hard to spot because the only sign outside is for all the shops in the little mall. Just look for the mall sign and head through the door (it feels like you might be entering one of these shops but you're not) and straight to the back - it's well marked. You might evening enjoy the other shops too, as I did.

The food was great- I got a chicken kebab twist, and my boyfriend got a chicken plate. The service was fast, even though there was only one person visibly working. The music wasn't loud, and it was empty (most people order to go/digitally)Totally recommend!

The only negative for me would be that I have a habit of going after the lunch rush as that's when I'm available to go and the tables are usually dirty or sticky, but not in the essence of it looking bad. Other than that the food is amazing!!! So much flavor! And it will not disappoint if this is your type of food. I really appreciate how authentic it tastes and the owner MO and his employees are extremely polite and professional! I most definitely recommend this place to everyone I know and always make sure to take a picture and post it on social media to show them off. I love this place and I hope it's here for the long run!

I really wanted to like Kabab Twist... However, I wasn't impressed by my first visit. I ordered the chicken kabob plate to go. The salad was really disappointing. It had only tomato and lettuce. It was missing cucumber and pita chips and the lettuce was barely dressed, so was overall pretty dry and bland. The chicken was overcooked, but seasoned. There were a ton of onions, but hardly any bell pepper. I liked how thinly sliced the onion and peppers were. Although, I would have liked them cooked a bit more. They were almost raw. The rice pilaf and garlic sauce were both good. I love tzatziki sauce and this one was just okay. I'm willing to give it another try, but my go-to spot for Mediterranean is still Kabab City in Fowler.

Congratulations to Kabab Twist For opening up their brick and mortar location in Kingsburg. They are located in the Village Mall on Draper street. This is their Chicken Kabab plate and an order of falafel. Everything was was great!! The chicken has a little spicy so I'm not sure if I got the spicy one or if the regular one is just a little spicy. Either way it was delicious. The falafel was good but seemed just a touch over cooked. But still has great flavor. Not pictured is their garlic sauce which was on point. Service was excellent! If you are in or near Kingsburg definitely check them out!!!

I stopped in for lunch and got a beef kebab plate. The rice and sauce were amazing! I do have to give an average rating though because the beef was very chewy and tough.
