If I can leave no stars I would. I went to Mariam before and she did well but the second time going to her was a complete disaster. No care was given to my hair. I wanted a full color brown and came out with orange hair that wasn't even touching my root. She bleached my hair but didn't even bleach everything because I had a ton of my original hair showing through out my whole head. I asked for a long layer haircut and got a choppy uneven cut with bangs. After being very patient and giving her more than enough time to issue me at LEAST half a refund, she refused. I paid 255$ for crappy hair I was embarrassed to be seen by. I then had to pay additional amount to get it fixed else were for obvious reasons. Ladies avoid this person chair. I was very disappointed in the unprofessional work and ownership by Mariam. The best answer she can give me was that she's dealing with personal problems. I'm sorry but if you can't separate personal issues with your work than you shouldn't be at work. Sadly, my hair was proof of that.

If I could give this women 100stars I would! Her work honestly speaks for its self! I've had my hair done in LA and SF and no one compares!!! My little sister is coming all the way from LA to Fresno to get her hair done by Monica and I can't wait to see the amazing results!!!

I want to start this review off by saying Monica is a wonderful person, but aside from that her work is flat out amazing I had to create a yelp just so I can rant about how wonderful this women's work really is while I am extremely cautious of who works on my hair I have to say I couldn't be in safer hands she always manages to exceed my expectations. Monica knows exactly what she's doing, and the proof is in her portfolio. I went to her this week based off of previous Yelp reviews as well as her Instagram photos. She's worth it if you want your hair done right.The vibe of her salon upbeat, and everyone is treated like family. She KNOWS how to work with us brunettes! She knows we all pull red, but she acts like it's the first time she's heard it. (I was guilty of telling her, too!) I trusted her 100%, because I knew if my hair turned out even half of what the others in the salon looked like afterwards, I'd be more than happy with the outcome. She did not disappoint! The only constructive criticism I have is that all of her communication is done via text. This may be the new way of connecting with people, and I'm old, but I feel it diminishes the personal connection between a hairdresser and her client (especially as a *new* client. Just know in advance that this is how she communicates (in case you're waiting for a phone call.) When you meet her in person, you'll forget about life's stresses and be treated just like a good friend. She's a talented woman!And I LOVE my hair!! It's the best it's ever been!

She is hands down THE BEST stylist I have ever been to. Not only did she give my hair a make over but my confidence too. I didnt think in my wildest hair dreams that she could take my hair to where it is now. I've been to several salons all across Fresno and I've finally found the last chair I want to be in. She is truly a master of hair and I want to share her magic with everybody!

Monica is so knowledgeable with hair coloring, I am so happy with my results. She is honest about results and makes sure I was aware of what I'd be expecting. Because my hair was black it took 2 sessions to get my dream hair! And I'm a happy gal!

Had my first appointment with Monica and she was not only honest and kind but also incredibly knowledgeable about hair types and what to recommend. She brought my hair back to life and recommended products that still have my hair feeling better than ever. You can tell she cares about her clients and will not steer them wrong! So thankful and already can't wait for my next appointment.

Monica has been my hair colorist for years now and I only trust her with coloring my hair! She's always such a sweetheart and knows what she's doing! I always get compliments on my hair whenever she does my hair.

I met Monica today after making an appointment for my hair upon arriving she was very professional and very knowledgeable of her Work ethics I would recommend Monica to anybody! She's the real deal. she is very fun and energetic to work with and always willing to hear your concerns and is willing to makes sure you meet your hair goals.
