June Bug Cafe

The food here was, at best, mediocre. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I ended up with food poisoning after having dinner here following a long day at Yosemite Park. Exhausted and with limited dining options available, we reluctantly chose this place.Our first concern arose when a full stack of ribs and a chicken dinner were served within just five minutes of ordering. The ribs were drenched in a sauce that tasted off, and the rest of the night was spent battling severe stomach aches.While the ambiance was acceptable, the experience was marred by the unsettling behavior of the cooks, who were giving us strange, almost creepy stares while we ordered. The vibe was definitely not what we expected.Though our stay at the hotel was pleasant, we will not be dining at this restaurant again. Trust me, there are far better and more affordable dining options available in and near Yosemite Valley.

3 stars for staff and food being good. -2 stars for hardly any parking, reservation system that is of no use as you just walk up to the counter to order. You get a number and get bring you your food. Staff was so kind and friendly. Accommodated my allergies as well. Menu changes by day it's very limited. I did not want such a large dinner at the high price. Glad there were some options to choose from though. Fish had some bones in it but it tasted good. Soup was good. Chocolate pie was just ok. Crust was good. This place had the most creepy Hills Have Eyes Texas chainsaw vibe. The alien ant head on the wall really was out of place for a family restaurant but fit this creep place vibe perfectly. I def will not return if I don't have to. No one would even know it's there unless it were for Yelp. It's not on a main road. Only ended up here due to Awhannee in Yosemite being under construction and not having a regular menu.

Classic breakfast was good! Oatmeal was good! Service was good! Loved the decor and lots of windows all around. Country charm inside. We bought some desserts to go and the carrot cake and the chocolate peanut butter pie are made in house and we're seriously the best I've ever had! Cannot wait to go back and try other homemade goodies!

I absolutely love this place and make sure I stop in at minimum for a dessert. This weekend, we camped in Briceberg and opted to go out as a celebratory we made it dinner. Boy, was I glad we did! They served a sirloin steak with cajon shrimp sauce. Once again, they did not disappoint! Absolutely define!

Super cute spot! Absolutely loved driving the mini road to get here; the selections are small, but the food is good for the area! They make giant pots of coffee that is self serve. You order up at the front and they call you to pick up the order. The interior is cute, cabin and rustic charm. Parking is plenty up front! Driving to the location is good - one road, it's small so be careful!Will be back in the future if I am in the area

The food was really tasty, good size portions and affordable. I also got there early enough to order the to go lunch and didn't need to worry about eating in the village.

I honestly cannot say enough great things about this place.Everything from the food to the service to the rustic charm...this place has my heart.Their desserts are out of this world, and their entrees are both hearty and wholesome and definitely hit the spot after an active, long day out in Yosemite Park. I am so glad that this place exists and I make a point to come here every time I am in the area. Thank you June Bug Cafe!

Handicapped accomodations. Delicious menu, great StaffGood, easy parking.Fun, comfy envirment. Los of guests to talk to and games you can play. I love the room rhay extends to trees. I call it the bird nest room.

The food was good I had French toast and pancakes both were good i went around 7 so not so crowded the place is a bit into the woods so alittle hard to find. Overall a good experience.

Fantastic food in the middle of the woods. Limited but varied menu that changes daily, though we only had the pleasure of eating there once. Order at the counter in front of the kitchen and seat yourself, food is brought to you.
