Year round indoor pool!

The absolute best place to get swimming lessons in the area (also the year round option is another bonus). We started at the parent & baby level when my son was 6 months and at 2.5 years we are still coming and in private lessons weekly. My son can confidently swim across the pool by himself, dive underwater for rings, safely climb in and out of the pool, and understands water safety. I am so thankful for this swim school and we will be coming for years to come. I did a lot of research of other swim schools in the area and being a former swimmer myself it was important to find a place that shows lifelong swimming techniques and safety not just to float on their back for 3 seconds.

We have a very timid two year old who refuses to get in the pool. The first few lessons were fine with the patient teachers (hence the two stars) but our 4th class was below sub par. The owner was their swimming in our 20 min private lesson with her own child & made things feel uncomfortable. She ended up saying to my husband that if we wanted a swim school that wouldn't make our child cry that she had the number. With that said it was the last time we attended & will not be returning. I simply called to explain our reason for unenrolling & received a basic "we dont give refunds for remaining sessions" reply, which we weren't calling for. I simply wanted to better understand why that happened & to express my unhappiness with the unprofessionalism.

I've had my daughter Skylar in Jamie's School of Fish since she was 7 months old. We began in their mommy and me class then switched over to semi private then private lessons. Two weeks before Sky turned three, she swam across the short distance of the pool. She is now 3 1/2 and swimming completely on her own. The leading cause in kids is drowning. It kills more toddlers/kids then anything else. Be smart and enroll your kid is lessons! Plus, Fresno is hot as hell during the summer. Wouldn't you love to not have to hold your screaming kid in the pool for a hour. Jamie and her staff have been incredible with Sky. My kid loves to swim because of this place. Highly recommend it. Shout out to swim coach, Davis!

I cannot say enough great things about Jamie's! Our kids have been going to Jamie's for the last two summers. By the end of last summer, my 2 year old was swimming across the pool by himself and my 4 year old could dive down to the bottom of the pool without assistance. Now, at the end of this year's lessons, (just 2 weeks ago) my 5 year old can swim the beginnings of freestyle and backstroke and my 3 year old can dive to the bottom. They are also VERY accommodating to our schedule as my husband and I both work shift jobs with various hours. Most importantly, my 5 year old literally saved herself two days ago when she fell into the lake off the dock between the dock and a boat with only about 2 feet of space to emerge. She came right back up to the surface even though she was terrified. There was no thrashing or panic at all! Yes, she is, what I would consider, an exceptional swimmer for her age with lots of practice because we basically live in our pool, BUT I also believe that a major reason for her being able to keep calm after falling into the dark lake waters was because she has confidence in the water and knows what to do in the situation. THANK YOU JSOF for giving my daughter the skills and confidence in the water she needed to save her life! If you're on the fence about sending your kids to JSOF, know they are in great hands! Swimming lessons is the most invaluable investment you can make for your kids! You can never predict when tragedy will strike and as a trauma nurse, I see too often kids who are not taught skills in the water. It could've been my daughter last weekend, but thankfully it wasn't.

My 3 year old daughter was fearful of water. In the bathtub she would cry if she got a drop of water on her face and request a towel. My daughter fully submerged on the first lesson. The first lesson was difficult because she was scared but she said she wanted to come back. I'm so glad we did. We had no crying by lesson #3. She has come a far way. She now submerges her face in water willingly and on her own. She asks every day when she gets to go back for another swim lesson. She has Miss Cayla and pretends to be her in the bathtub teaching her Barbie dolls how to swim. She fully trusted Cayla and felt safe. They have patio umbrellas, tables and chairs next to the pool so you may sit and watch the lesson and offer encouragement.

All my three kids learned to swim at Jamie's. Two of them with her and overall we always had a fantastic experience. We did private lesson for all.

upon recommendation, enrolled both of my kids here. Love it, Love Jaime, and her staff, they are very caring and professional. And to the people trolling and leaving negative comments and reviews. Unless you were a student, parent of a student you should just keep your comments to yourself. Yelp is for people to review services and business, not post OP ED pieces from your third hand link from FB. Jaime we stand behind you and your staff!

We purchased private lessons for the Clovis location. Great instructor and just a fantastic experience. My son really connected with his instructor and always had a smile on his face.

This place sucks! I had an emergency dentist appointment this morning. I asked for a one time reschedule. The response I received was " Unfortunately, we do not do make up lessons." Make sure you read the fine print.
