Not bad! We ate here twice during our stay at Tenaya, once for breakfast (we stayed in one of the cabins and they gave us breakfast vouchers) and once for dinner. Breakfast was pretty busy and our food took almost 45 minutes to come out, I think something must've gone wrong because tables seated after us got their food before us. Other than that, the food was pretty good and generous portions. It would've been pricey without the vouchers. Since we had enough vouchers for 2 days, we got breakfast to go the second time and that was ready in 20 minutes. Dinner was actually really nice! The ambiance is very cozy without being overly dark and we felt welcome with our toddler. Madison, our server was great. Food was good, came out quickly and was pretty delicious. I wouldn't come back here to eat unless we stayed at the resort again, but it's a convenient option if you don't want to drive the 20 minutes into Oakhurst.

I think we tried almost everything on the menu during our 3 night stay, since the other restaurant was closed. Everything was delicious- we tried: The Korean short ribFilet RibeyeJackelope burger Alfredo - the chicken was very tender Schnitzel Curry dish Grilled cheese and tomato soupBuffalo wings Dishes that stood out to us were the onion rings, ahi tuna stack, and nachos. We ordered the onion rings every day, so fresh and delicious. Disappointing dish was the dumplings- these were just frozen gyoza and were way overpriced for 6 pieces Grilled cheese was too greasy Cesar salad was not impressive - very basic However, the service, cocktails and ambiance were great - will be coming back!

We got snowed in and unexpectedly ended up having dinner here. The menu is a fair size with much to offer anyone still we had picky eaters in our group, the kitchen was very accommodating. The food was amazing! Someone ordered the tempura sandwich said it was perfect! I ordered a jackalope burger, very good.. Someone else ordered a bahn mi they mentioned it wasn't traditional but still delicious. Every plate empty and everyone happy.I wish I had remembered our waitress name she was excellent! I love the cozy cabin feel with a mix of elegant lighting. This would make an excellent spot for a romantic dinner for that special person in your life.

We went for dinner here after a 14hr day at the Yosemite National Park. I have been here several times and always enjoyed it despite the reviews. Our server Greg was prompt and courteous, the ambience was nice, but the food this time around disappointed. We ordered the $57 Harris Ranch grilled Rib Eye medium rare but what came to the table was medium with the last few bites being medium rare. I really should have returned it but we were just hungry and tired and didn't want to wait. We also ordered the $27 Blackened Shrimp tacos which were average and nothing like the southern style blackened cooking. This place was my little solace for dinner close enough to the park, not anymore.

Our server, Victor G was attentive, quick to cater to our needs, and provided great meal recommendations while we were indecisive on what to get! Lots of seating available! Clean tables, booths, and bar tops with a contained fire pit in the center of the restaurant. We waited for 25 minutes for a party of two & enjoyed the live pianist outside in the lobby! Huge benefit- there is a Tesla Supercharger station right outside the lobby/gift shop area & you could fully charge while eating!! I'd say the food was a solid 6/10 - nothing spectacular that stuck out and surely not worth the $200 we spent eating out! It was one of the few restaurants available at 2100 and I felt as if we paid for the convenience of being right outside of Yosemite Valley & the late hours of being open! One thing that I do recommend getting is the warm sticky toffee cake - similar to Gordon Ramsays Hell Kitchen! You could honestly go without the pork dumplings and the 72-hr angus Korean short rib (it was good/flavorful but surely not worth the price)! Steak was okay & decently priced! The fries of the steak plate stole the show! If you could order fries on the side, I'd 100% recommend!

Stopped in for a drink but unfortunately they didn't have a bar tender. Ordering a mixed drink was risky so opted for a beer. Wasn't disappointed as there's not much to poring a draft beer. Staff were nice and the atmosphere was welcoming. Would go back again for lunch and hopefully a mixed beverage.

We visited after a long trip back from Yosemite. This was the most appealing menu near the park and I'm glad we came here. We were seated immediately into a cabin/lodge vibe atmosphere. Our server, Abraham, was very nice, attentive, & quick handling multiple tables on a busy afternoon. We ordered the onion rings to start - these were the best we've had. For our meals we ordered the Steakhouse Burger and Inside-out Avocado Quesadilla. Both were fantastic & filling. Anytime I'm visiting Yosemite, I'll be stopping by for a meal :)

We went to Yosemite for a vacation and stayed at the Tenaya Lodge. The restaurant in the hotel is the Jackalope. We were worried there would be a long wait but it was less than five minutes. We got an order of wings and an Asian fish appetizer which everyone thought was great. We ordered several steaks dinners and my husband had a patty melt. Our kids ordered burgers and salads. We had a great server who really hustled and gave us excellent customer service. It's a really nice restaurant with a varied menu. The breakfast buffet is also excellent. Everything was super fresh and tasty. I recommend dining here when you are at a Yosemite.

The family and I had a great weekday dinner here. It was not empty but not too crowded or loud. The young gentleman who seated us was very sweet and you could tell he took pride in his job. Jenni, our server, was friendly, helpful giving recommendations, and checked on us the perfect amount. All the staff were pleasant and funny, including the guy who delivered our food. The food itself was delicious. The four of us shared the Brussels sprouts, carnitas nachos, and a cobb salad, which was plenty for 4 adults! We also had a few beers and glasses of wine; appreciated the generous pours.Great cozy lodge ambiance. Nice big menu with lots of tasty-sounding options. Would go again for sure!

BEWARE!!!!! They passed a new rule that even if you are old, gray and carrying a cane, they will card you. They carded an 87 year old man. It's annoying and ridiculous. I get if you look 39 or younger but come on. An employee who will remain nameless said that have had a lot of pissed off people who hike to the lodge without their ID just to get a drink and they can't get it.Food: subpar. But, it's convenient.Drinks: good!Ambiance: ok and cozy. Fireplaces in every room. Our highlight was our well made Irish coffees after a long snowy hike. BUT! We didn't forget our IDs. Even though we are more than double the age limit.Come on Tenaya, be reasonable.
