The original owners of International catering sold this business to their son 4 years ago. Robert and Manny have run this place to the ground from what I have been told. We had some issues with them and they offered to cancel the contract and give us our deposit back. They asked us to give them a formal letter and so we sent them a letter stating that we were requesting a mutual termination of our contract from their offer to give us our deposit back. As soon as we sent them the letter they started dodging our calls and have now gone M.I.A. They still have our $2000 deposit. After seeing this review Robert contacted our wedding coordinator. He told her he had every intention of giving back the deposit but hadn't had a chance to contact us since he has multiple businesses and is very busy. He even made a comment about contacting lawyers because my review was slander or libel. Our wedding coordinator spoke to Robert one more time and asked that he call my mother-in-law. This was 3 weeks ago. He still hasn't called her back and I don't think she will see her money back unless she goes to court. She has tried contacting Robert multiple times and he won't answer or return voicemails.

Helped my friend with a bridal shower she was hosting for her niece. International Catering provided off-site services for the event. They provided the tables and chairs, linens, dishes, glasses, set-up, and of course the food! The staff who set up the event, Alberto and Abraham, were phenomenal. Alberto can do magic w/ linens with his draping skills. Everything was artfully presented. The bride-to-be requested a mashed potato bar which was served in martini glasses; they were stacked in a pyramid and decorated w/ pink tulle. The toppings were presented in over-sized martini glasses as well, SO cute. The rest of the menu was delicious: teriyaki meatballs, bacon-wrapped scallops, vegetable skewers, chicken skewers, spanikopita, three different crostini topped w/ spinach dip, herbed chicken or shrimp & goat cheese, and a beautiful fruit tray. All of the ladies who attended oohed and aahed during the event. Alberto even served the cake, which was a last minute request as my friend thought we were having cupcakes instead. He didn't bat an eye and quickly began serving the cake; earlier while we were putting up our own decorations, Alberto asked if he could help as he and Abraham were already done w/ their set-up "I'm bored, are you sure I can't help with anything" he offered. They were such a great team; they did the set-up together, Alberto oversaw the food service and Abraham came back to clean up. Talk about making a special event effortless, investing in a skilled caterer like International Catering is definitely worth it.

I coordinated the wedding for my dear friend on 10/29/16. We booked International for all our needs. Kellie is fantastic, I cannot speak highly enough of her and her staff. We had a smaller event so we were in the Holiday room.THE BADIt should be noted that the International venue is an older building and with that there are bound to be situations that arise. For us, it was the day before as we were getting the room prepped that we noticed some ceiling tiles were soaked through and leaking (we just had very heavy rain). Kellie was immediately on top of it. The roof was drained and the tiles were replaced and by Saturday morning you would have had no clue about the leak. The only other mishap was with our bar. Our contract stated that the bar would be open at 5 and it did not open till 5:45. During that time I was very upset and let the staff know this was not okay. By the time the bar opened up everyone was ready for some drinks so the line was very long for just 1 bartender. Once it got under control he was able to manage the guests. Once I had a drink I was a lot less annoyed that it opened late and it did not ruin the evening which was good.We were also supposed to have a coffee station but that never got set up.The following Monday when I called Kellie she listened to my concerns and let me know that was not up to their standards. Not only will she follow up but she is going to work to make it right which we appreciate.THE GOODThe food was fantastic. Gloria in the kitchen is a wiz! The lemon chicken and tri-tip were delicious and the evening appetizers of sliders and spanakopita were very tasty and the guests were not expecting them. The staff was coordinated and followed our timeline for the evening. Abraham was running the show and he did a great job. I want to make sure I give the recognition where it is due. Overall the wedding was a blast and my friend, the bride, was pleased with everything. I appreciate Kellie and her team and I thank them for making our night great. Even with the few hiccups we had I would book with them again. The food was delicious, the crew was on it, and the way in which Kellie handled our issues was professional. I am happy we booked with International. When we get pictures I will update this post.

The food was one of the big hits at our wedding and it's all thanks to international catering. The chicken was not dry and full of flavor but the tri tip was AMAZING!! I would definitely not hesitate to book with them again as well as recommend them to anyone!

i had booked this place for my wedding. its ridiculously expensive, but everything i looked at was, so i booked them seeing as the woman i met with was super nice and made me feel taken care of. i put down $2,000 (non refundable)well i ended up going a different direction, and even though i paid MORE then the needed deposit, they would not refund any of it, but instead offered to host another of my events. so i decided to book my baby shower with them. they DID NOT tell me that on Sundays they have a very roudy church group show up in the main hall (fine, i can respect a church)--but the woman who was WITH THE CHURCH didnt want to let me inside to get to MY BOOKED BANQUET ROOM. she actually made me (im 9 months pregnant) stand in the freezing cold holding boxes/bags of decorations. and i mention this because apparently these people bought out the whole building. it was ridiculous and insulting. then when we were finally in our room, they had RANDOM STRANGERS COMING THROUGH THE BACK DOOR AND STARING AT US. creeping around. AWKWARD ..::NOW FOR THE FOOD::.. ----APPETIZERS ** Teriyaki meatballs were pretty good, cant complain **Crostni's- most were stale and hard to eat, but when you got a good one, it was Delicious. **Fruit was good- no complaints ----SALAD ** salad was tasty, but they only brought out ONE small "dish" of ranch dressing, that the whole table had to share. -----MEAL **the mashed potato's were the only part of the food i could actually enjoy. the CHICKEN was poor quality and cold when served, and the VEGIES were obviously pre frozen. in all, im VERY happy that i chose to NOT have them cater my wedding. it would have been an absolute disaster with amount of money i would have had to fully invest or the food to still be what it was. THE STAFF that was helping serve the food couldn't not have been any more amazing though. they were polite and respectful.ANYWAY i would not recommend this place to any one because of the sole fact its not put together well. everything was done ONE TIME- yes but to what i was told it would be (my expectations) - thats a BIG FAT NOPE.

Another amazing event. Everyone always comes for the food and you did not disappoint. I refer you company often and you never disappoint. Your amazing staff lead by the AMAZING Judith! She is a great person, charming personality and I hope is a valued member of your staff. Your bartenders (who sadly I didn't get their names) were amazing and served our guests with finesse that would rival any big time bar. Everyone walked out with full bellies and a Big smile.. thank you International Catering..

Went to International Catering in March 2012 for a charity event dinner and what a disappointment! Just so happened they had also booked a Quinceaneras in the banquet room adjacent to our room and no sooner had we started our event that the music next door started, drowning out any capability for us to hear our speaker in our room. Waitresses kept opening the door connecting our rooms and we were blasted out with music and couldn't even talk to one another when that happened. Kids were running and yelling in the hallway which just added to the noise and distraction. Essentially, a ruined event that should not have been. This would not be my choice if I were planning any type of event.

We Catered an event for our Dads, Memorial Buffet Luncheon at his home with International Catering Company's, in Fresno, CA. Sales Rep Kellie Royston booked it and it was very disappointing not getting what she said we would get. Make sure when contracting with them that everything is written in contract before paying up front. She verbally said we would get 3 girls and 2 boys to serve, We got 1 girl and two boys. She said we would get a Gourmet Coffee Station, we got a coffee pot on a chair that had to be connected to an outlet on the side of our house because they didn't bring electrical cords. No one could see it.Twice she assured me after I paid for 85 people that I would get 15 additional plates we only got 5. We had to run and buy paper plates. Our servers were outstanding and friendly, they really did their best. Our food didn't arrive until 1:30, our guess should have been ready to be served at 1:30. I was told verbally by the Rep., they had a company truck, they brought a U-Haul truck that didn't fit the drive way so that took extra time to wheel the food in. In our contract they said water would be served they had to use our tap water, for their ice. In a time of my grief and with my dad in hospice and running to prepare for funeral I thought I could trust this company after all the years they have been in business. I will never used her again. The food was good, best to have it catered in their facilities. Beware they are not well equipped for outside catering, It appears our Rep was not entirely honest. By the way we had to provide out own tables & chairs and for some reason our buffet tables were used by mistake. The staff quickly went and got a table so we could set up our desserts.
