Insanitea Boba

My new go-to spot for a high quality matcha boba! The "Perfect Matcha" is a 10/10 choice for matcha lovers. The atmosphere stands out compared to any other boba shop in the Valley which I love. It is similar to Bay Area boba shops. I would give 5 stars if i didn't have this one very poor experience. A girl took my order & seemed a little rude (I thought maybe she was having an off day) Until I got to my car to shake my matcha & have it spill all over me & my car. She didn't make sure the lid was properly sealed nor did she sift the matcha.

Me and my son wanted to grab some boba milk teas before picking up his dad from work, ended up here cus it was around the way. I read the reviews and to me it could've been a hit or miss. We pulled up and went inside. It was giving me hookah bar vibes cus the dark furniture and black light was screaming LOUNGE! Different look then ur average boba place but I don't knock it. I liked the sparkly bear they had in the corner. Homegirl that took our order was really nice and also patient. My son got the blended Thai tea milk tea. He liked that. I tasted it and it was ok. Not the best for me. I couldn't decide wth I wanted so I ended up with an iced jasmine lavender milk tea? I think that's what it was called. Sub the grass jelly for their milk foam. I was lookin for a salted cheese milk foam but theirs was just regular. Yeah.... I wasn't impressed. For some reason it tasted like tap water being used. After drinking it some more ig I forced myself to like it so it didn't go to waste. Maybe it was my choice of drink or topping, idk but I wasn't feelin it. I don't think I'll be back. Service was great tho!

I got the drink called "A Perfect Matcha" with no boba and it tastes absolutely delicious. Very well blended and tastes authentically matcha (???) idk if that makes sense but that's what it tastes like. I'm always trying various boba places or cafe's matcha drinks and this hit the spot. So good. Very quick service. I also loved the halloween decor of the place!

Interesting flavors. Felt a bit overwhelmed walking in with all the different flavor combinations and the black interior felt a bit out of place? Staff was very nice and patient as I went thru the menu.

Awh man. I had high hopes for this place because there isn't one very close in this area. The ones nearest to this place are Happy Lemon, Rare Tea, and Kung Fu Tea. You could count Teazers in there if you're only seeking tea. The price point blew us away. $8.25?! That's for every single drink and while some include toppings already, additions like Cheese Foam are an extra $1.50 and you CAN'T sub out any of the toppings for this. I tried the Flying Jasmine because jasmine has to be carefully brewed to make sure it isn't bitter. I didn't love this drink. There was only a faint jasmine taste which was overpowered by boba. I got it at regular sweetness but it could have used more. The boba was nicely made. Even if this drink was cheaper, I wouldn't get it again. Bestie had the Hor Cha Cha and said it was good. To me, it had a pretty weird taste. Very strawberry-based initially and then the horchata came through. The service was great and the cashier answered all of our questions. He gave us some of the house faves and customer faves. The ambiance is different. Kind of goth-glam with a random disco mirror bear and then neon lights in the back. The neon lights were really different and make the place more unique. I might have stuck with that aesthetic more than the rest. I like that they have a lounge and let you bring in outside food. There was a family there eating Wing Stop. Overall, wouldn't be back based on price and drink quality. There are a lot better tea places out there at fairer price points.

Their teas are really good! We went to their soft opening on Dec. 22. They are really flavorful and honestly one of the better milk teas ive had in Fresno/Clovis. The place is painted all black with fun lights everywhere. Definitely unique.

I'm torn. On one hand, I like that it seems like they're making a big effort here. The place looks cool inside, and I'd like to hang out here. However, the music was way too loud and neither I nor the cashier could hear each other.I was expecting more standard options. It seemed like everything was really intense, so I think I got them to modify something into a pretty standard milk tea option, which came out good but not great. The menu doesn't seem to have any grouping, so it was extremely hard to find something appealing, as the names don't necessarily lend to the ease of knowing what you're ordering either.There's potential here. I hope they stick with it and make some adjustments to make the experience a little less uncomfortable.

Very good Thai tea. Boba was perfect. The ambiance felt a bit like a nightclub, but it was a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere . The service was excellent.

The environment is nice was pretty busy when we walked in people were just waiting for orders. When we got to the register, then paid. The girl was polite and welcoming. But could tell she was overwhelmed with making orders too, I felt bad for her. There were three people waiting for orders and it took about 20 minutes to get our drinks to go. The drinks and boba were delicious. Just felt bad for the girl who was taking orders and making drinks on her own during a rush. She is a All-Star
