New Indian restaurant in the area? What could go wrong? LOL! Well, to be honest, not all that much! While the location itself isn't much to look at, the service is awesome! When we arrived, it was a slow evening with just two young ladies behind the counter and in the kitchen. One family was at a table and we would be their second table while we were there. The dining room is a bit on the bland side, with stark white walls, monitors on one wall with part of the menu, and a large counter filling most of the space. Two refrigerators line one wall while the few tables they have available are at the front of the restaurant. There are interesting lights on the ceiling but that's about the extent of the decor. We found the ambiance to be a bit harsh with the bright lighting, but the service more than made up for that! The young lady who helped us was knowledgeable about the menu and offered explanations for several items, as well as suggestions. She was a delight for certain. After going back and forth a little bit, we settled on chicken samosas to start and we both got the butter chicken and a garlic naan to share. Both of us also chose a lassi to go with our dinners. Regarding the food, it was very good. My husband loves spicy food and said his hot bowl was a little under-spiced for his palate. Me, I'm a wimp - lol! - when it comes to spiciness and my mild bowl was more than a bit too hot for me. That being said, it was all very good. The samosas were perfectly cooked, with a lovely flavor. The butter chicken was served with a pat of butter on top and a bowl of rice. All of the food is made fresh to order, including the naan bread! I watched as she placed the naan dough into the...I don't even know what it's called! Haha!...whatever the oven is called, she did it right there where we could see into the kitchen and it was fascinating to watch! We will definitely return, with bigger appetites, as the food is delicious.

Amazingly great food. Great customer service. The owner is proud and knowledgeable. Waitresses were friendly and helpful. Food was made to order so it was fresh and piping hot!! What a great experience. Ordered quite a few things as this was our first time trying Indian food. We were recommended the chicken samosas. Omg, heaven!!! Fresh, hot, flavorful!! We also had the tandoori chicken salad, pizza, chicken 65, butter chicken, biranyi vegetable rice, chili garlic naan, and onion naan.EVERYTHING was good, but the chicken 65, samosas, and rice were exceptionally delicious! There's different spice levels to ask for plus they have sauces on the side as well. It was the first time trying this food and I will forever be hooked, I just hope I can find food close to this good as we were on a business trip passing through. We will definitely make this our go-to whenever in town. Thank you guys for the awesome experience and the great service. Your food is top tier!

When I saw Tulare had a new Indian restaurant I couldn't have been more excited. This area is severely lacking in quality Asian cuisine. I finally got a chance to order take out today. We got a medium spice butter chicken with basmati, paneer pakora (fried cheese), garlic naan, & a masala chai. Everything had loads of lovely flavor. Butter chicken was delicious with lots of chicken inside. Naan had a superior fluffy texture and flavor. Chai was perfectly spiced. Shout out to the women behind the counter! They are personable & helpful. I cannot wait to come again & try the TANDOORI PIZZA...that's right, you no longer have to drive to Visalia for curry pizza! Pricing was also decent, in my opinion.

The food is good. The service was excellent. And the prices are reasonable. It is so nice to have an Indian restaurant in Tulare.

Highly recommend stopping in and trying the food! The food was amazing and by far the best Indian food I have tasted in a while. We ordered butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, and garlic naan. (White basmati rice comes with the entree) with hot level spice. The spice gave it a really good kick without it being overbearing. Everything is made fresh so it comes out hot. All of the ladies in the restaurant are really nice and helpful with anything you need or recommendations on food. It's a small unassuming place but definitely deserves more customers.

First glance the place looks so clean cashier was so sweet and THE FOOD THE FOOD was so bomb I got the chicken tikka masala and paneer pakora definitely coming back here and it's so welcoming

Great food, great service, great place!!! I highly recommend you give this place a try. The paneer tikka masala, biryani, garlic naan was great! We also enjoyed the goobi pakora. The owner was so very friendly and caring. Just a small family business working their dream.We made a stop before getting home with our food and it was cooled down but still great! Which means dine in must be even better! Don't forget to ask for a dessert recommendation! We got these little orange balls that are eaten warm. Oh wow those were good too!We are 100% returning for more!

This place is a gem of Indian cuisine! My husband and I went there for my birthday. The food was mouth watering good. We had vegetable samosas, my husband had the tandoori chicken salad, and I had their salmon bowl (salmon in a butter chicken sauce with rice.) For drinks a hot Chai tea and Mango Lassi. A very satisfying birthday dinner! They also have delicious desserts and ice cream, which we didn't try because we were full! Next time I'm making sure I have some ice cream!My husband is looking forward to going back. I'm going this Friday because I can't get enough! The staff and owners were so friendly and helpful when guiding us through the menu. The restaurant was very clean and bright.
