Indian Flat RV Park

Great camp ground, this is our second time staying here. Easy access to Yosemite from here, recent expansions have added services. Safe, pretty quiet, other campers are careful to clean up. You can hear the rushing river sound from your campsite! Ahhh... The staff is helpful and considerate- this place is a madhouse in the summer. Just sayin' - we came in mid-June and it was beginning to "ramp-up" so get organized, get you food and menu figured out BEFORE you come. The have a small area of essential items but not everything. Tents / campsites are close together- not touching-but within hearing distance. There are already set-up, standup very nice tent cabins- new, clean - reserve early!! The Showers: this would be a higher rating BUT... the shower water pressure AND temperature is inconsistent... this results in an icy and scalding shower, the knobs are not easy to use/ regulate. The showers are free and there are several. Please improve the showers- we'd be sooo happy! A pool/hot tub is available at the Next door hotel (affiliated with the campground)!The restaurant is closed - at least when we came) there is a bar/burger cafe next door. You WILL use a Bear box for food and sweet smelling stuff (gum, candy) unless you want to share your meals / tent with squirrels-jays - other rodents etc. and you'll disrupt the campground with your squeals & yells. Make a list- check it twice!! we forgot firewood & starter fluid... duh! -yes they have that! We enjoyed our campfire -Thanks!!

We had great time tent camping here for 3-nights. And this review is for tent camping.+ Approx 30 min drive to Yosemite Park+ Flushing toilets, hot water, free showers, toilet paper+ Indoor pool and jacuzzi at hotel next door+ Super market and restaurant next door + Cross the street and there you have Merced River+ At night you can hear lovely river sound + BBQ and fire pit for making night fire FYI: no phone reception, no data reception, and no wifi at campground.So as you read lots of good things about this place....- However only downside is tents are very close and tight together and you don't get that free space. It's definitely more an RV park than campground, lots of RVs in the park . Tents are cramped together and if the next door tent snores/talks you clearly hear it. So perhaps management shouldn't rent out so many tent sites. And let people to enjoy the site.

5 stars! Absolutely love this campground. I have stayed in the car camping location and set my dad up with one of the tent cabins. Always amazing. Super convenient showers and bathrooms - you get to access the neighboring property pool and bar...go see Haley at the bar she is great. Keith is an amazing host and was super flexible most recently with the fires that have been crazy in the area. This camp site is super easy to get - less than 20 minutes from the El Portal entry - and has all amenities needed: Shower, Bathrooms, Fire Ring, Bear Box and table. I stopped looking for sites in the park after staying here twice. It cannot be beat!

Great campground. Dog friendly. Management was cool. It is a very quiet place. It has plenty of showers. The campground is located 10 minutes away from the Yosemite National Park entrance. I highly recommend this campground.

Hello everyone, I stayed for 3 night at indian flat campground, the camping was clean and well organized. The showers were hot (amazing), the bathrooms were cleaned and the sink to wash the dishes always available and big enough. The owner Michael and Jennifer are very nice with a good communication. I want to thank Michael for moving my tent to a different spot since I was hiking and i wasn't physically at the campground. I ll definitely go back. FABIO

Absolutely love this place! At first I didn't know what to expect for the price because it was really cheap compared to other places . But I loved the little cottage that my group and I stayed at . Will definitely go back to this place , I recommend it 100% also the staff is super friendly ! And it's not that far from Yosemite. Great prices , good location , and friendly staff can't go wrong with that!

We enjoyed our stay at this campground. It is dog friendly and very accommodating. We were able to book a few days before our stay. The manager and the other people that worked there were very nice. They gave us good recommendations & helpful information. Our campsite was near the bathrooms and showers so it was very convenient. Campground is quiet & very spacious. The campground is located 10 mins from the Yosemite national park entrance. We look forward to our next trip and returning again to this campground.

I really loved this place. Very close to Yosemite, about 7 miles. The grounds and cabin I stayed at was very clean. The host, Keith, was very friendly and accommodating. I went in the winter, so there was only one other guest in the cabin next to me. The river across the street has a small area to explore. The wifi is slow and the connection is weak, at least in the Rock cabin. The cabin has two beds, a kitchen, and a bathroom. Quick tip, bring food with you as the one store (Chevron) is really expensive. The kitchen has all the utensils you need. The cabin also has heat and AC. There is also a tv with some cable channels. I like cozy eclectic placard and this one fits the bill.

Guest guide states:Quiet Hours:1. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.2. Please be courteous to other guests around you.3. Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time.Guide also states that if there are issues to contact management immediately.It's midnight. A guest is playing load music while people are trying to rest.No management on site to enforce quiet times. No response to multiple emails. No response to callsAvoid these accommodations if you are expecting to have peace and quiet so you can rest.

My daughter rent a house actually is trailer house, we paid $175, July inside living area window have air conditioner, temperature is 89 inside. The dining chairs and sofa is very very old, look like 20 years old and dirty. we scare to touch at all. we put chair around sofa. The owner is very friendly, but it is not worth to pay that amount stay so hot indoors. Outside the patio table and chair is dirty, grass seems never cut.
