House Psychiatric Clinic

Both of my nurse practitioners have been awesome. The first was cool and somewhat businesslike, and one day she told me she had "just quit." Nothing against her at all, but my replacement is the adorable Joanne. I look forward to our sessions due to her mild manner and understanding. She's the sweetest lady! The receptionists are nice too. One of them complimented me on my Dexter T-shirt LOL. I can hardly wait until my next appointment in about 3 weeks.

The care I've received over the last year or so has been awesome. I see others mentioned how hard it was to get an appt but I've not had that experience. Both the office staff and clinicians have been wonderful and attentive.

I don't leave reviews often, but I cannot express enough house thankful I am for House Psychiatric Clinic. I have been so scared to go to a psychiatric clinic and worried about what type of care I would receive. But Wendy has been the absolute best psychiatrist I could have ever asked for. I am so thankful I found my way to her. She has been the sweetest and most caring person ever and I am so thankful for all she's done to change my life. Thank you guys for the amazing treatment I have received, from someone who really needed the help.

I've been a patient for a long time, at least 5 years, I missed 2 appointments with a new psychiatrist (Shen Weng), I tried video chatting with her a couple of times, but she was colder than any reptile that I'm aware of, and in under 5 minutes I was done with our appointment My last psychiatrist Susan Davin was a caring person, who would ask me questions about how my life was going, and I would be able to tell her about my romantic life also and she was always willing too give me a few extra minutes, but Shen Weng, just asked me if my medicines were working and went bye bye for our supposedly 125 minutes of time How would you feel if you needed someone to vent to about things going on in my life???‍‍‍‍‍‍

House clinic is BY FAR the best I have been treated at !!! From Mary, the so kind and understandging receptionist, to Joanne my MD, to Don , my therapist........ THEY ARE THE BEST ! Always going the extra mile........ and always looking out for your best interest. I trust them with my life.

First off, trying to schedule an appointment was very difficult to do. Secondly, they tried to push anti depression medication on me instead of connecting me to a therapist. Third, they connected me to a male therapist even though I requested female. Fourth, the therapist assigned to me forgot who I was the second session. Fifth, the therapist never had appointments that were suitable for my schedule or availability. Sixth, the therapist showed up late to a session and cut another session sort. Seventh, I attempted to call and email to cancel a session due to an unexpected illness and still got charged a fee. Eighth, the agency billed my insurance for a service they never provided and than proceeded to bill me for it. Do not recommend at all. Save your money and go to an agency or provider that actually cares.

I ONLY comment on Yelp when its a positive experience. I absolutely adore the staff here. I've been an outpatient at House Psychiatric for four or five years now and I absolutely feel heard and seen. I really like my meds manager a LOT. She always makes me feel like I have a voice. I had to change to a different practitioner for a while and she was VERY professional as well. I feel like they go the extra mile for their patients. The atmosphere is nice too, they have several nice pieces of art on the walls. I especially adore the painting in with the receptionists. The clinic is always clean and tidy. I was QUITE surprised at the not so great reviews..... since I have never had a bad experience here. They even call me by name when I go in, which surprises me since I've never been to a Psychiatric facility where the staff remembered me by name. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. They are EXTREMELY professional, warm and inviting. I feel like they are also taking Covid 19 very seriously, which is important to me. I would recommend this clinic to anyone needing Psychiatric care or medication management. I feel very fortunate for having found this place.

Very poor customer service. Called in for an appointment and was on hold 15 minutes, left a message no call back. Sent an Email for an appt and no reply.Dont bother wasting your time go somewhere else

I have been a patient of Dr. Matt House since 2015 - almost 7 years. There is no one else I would trust with my mental health! He partners with patients and is so personable. Willing to listen to every question, I feel like I am trusted to make my own health care decisions overall; we are a team! Not to mention the office manager, Cherie, who has been there longer than I have! Also Vanessa! They are both so nice and helpful. The office has expanded quite a bit in the last 7 years. But, I wouldn't give up Dr. Matt if you offered me a million bucks!

This office messed up my sister's appointment time twice and now is refusing to see her. This office gives the rudest and most unreasonable treatment I have ever heard of. Don't go here if you want any sort of quality service, they take forever to respond to calls, they rarely pick up the phone, and you can expect your message to be responded to weeks later. This is a problem on its own but could've been understandable if they didn't have a sketchy cancellation policy. My sister finally was able to secure an appointment and was waiting patiently on the videocall, when one of the office staff gets on the call after she waits for a good 10-15 minutes to let her know that they accidentally cancelled her appointment. The staff member literally admitted that my sister's appointment was deleted. My sister was super understanding even though she's been waiting for this appointment for months, and they agreed on a different date. Today she calls for the call link for her appointment and they tell her that her appointment was yesterday, which it wasn't. They messed up her appointment time again, and instead of rescheduling her, they tell her that they will not be scheduling her again because she's "missed" two appointments already. As someone who works as a receptionist at a surgical center, I completely understand how hard it is to see every patient and give quality service to every person when most medical offices are super busy in Fresno. What I do not understand however is how this facility could be so unprofessional and so uncaring to people they are supposed to be helping.
