The price on the hog fries went up 5:50 $ since last time I ordered them a month ago. That's huge. Guess I'll find another bbq place to go to

4/3/24 Getting lunch! I tried to get it yesterday, but, with Easter being so busy, they only had fish until later in the afternoon. . Luckily, the worker was Great. Apologized and I asked about tomorrow and she said they will have it early today. Already here! I called & ordered the 3 piece 2 sides. BBQ chicken, tri-tip & ribs with an extra BBQ chicken and asked about the popular sides and picked macaroni & cheese & baked beans. The worker Harmony was great & said it would be made. Headed to get it a little later. It's in a Chevron. I went in and greeted at the Hogg Pitt. The worker was great & the order was ready. I paid for it with apologies from not having the meat yesterday. Appreciated! Lunchtime! Order split. Ended up pretty disappointed. Ordered tri-tip and there wasn't any. They put in a sausage link instead. Why? I called back and the worker wasn't surprised. I guess she didn't think I would call, but I paid $60. I should've got the entire order. She did apologize, and luckily the she refunded me for the tri-tip. The the rib was good. Tasty BBQ flavor. Same with the BBQ chicken. The BBQ sauce made it more flavorful too! Macaroni & cheese was cheesy & good. Baked beans were no good. It tasted like beans out of can. =/Mother felt the same and she had the sausage that wasn't ordered and she said it was okay. Lots of leftovers! Great service & pretty good lunch! Recommended!

First, I am not related to nor did I receive any compensation for this review. We live near Hogg Pitt and wanted to support a local business.As we walked in, we were greeted by a female staff member, who was polite and answered all the questions we had. We chose the 3 Meat, 2 Side combo along with their Loaded Fries. The 3 meats were x2 Ribs and x1 tri tip. The sides were Potato Salad and Baked Beans. We LOVED the loaded fries which consisted if French Fries, Mac n Cheese, Sweet Baked beans, and chopped Tri Tip.Overall, the food tasted good. No complaints, meats were moist and flavorful. For those people complaining about price, if you haven't noticed minimum wage went up so these prices are adjusted for that(you can thank Governor Newscum for that). It's nice to have a new place added to our weekly rotation for dinner options. If you live nearby or want a new place to try out stop by. Inside the Chevron at Clinton/Blythe. You won't regret it.

I like the catfish and fries. The BBQ & Salmon was good but you don't get that much meat unfortunately. The rice was ok and the Mac taste like it's from the box. Waiting time isn't that long as long as you call it in.

This place has earned a happy returning customer! The food is BOMB! I had to try it out after seeing many post it on social media and it lives up to the high rated reviews! Shout out to the owner as well, super helpful and amazing customer service!

I wish I would have taken a picture of my food tried for the first time this week it was so good I had to order again. All meats cooked perfectly amazing flavor. So happy we are able to have this joint so close to our area.

I went to visit my friend who lives across the street from the Hogg Pitt so we walked to have some bbq. The bbq was ok the price $40 overpriced for what you get. I had the ribs,chicken; and tri tip unfortunately all were dry sauce is too sweet for me plus two sides would I go again no. I am for local business so give it a try

Pork ribs were 3-3.5 inches long. The tips were gone. 3 ribs 10$Nice people serving . Place is kept clean. Flavor was ok/good.

Food is freshly made. No leftover. Mac is cheesy and creamy. Beans are sweet and creamy. Hotlink could be hotter. Bun choice is perfect. 4 star. Always room for improvement

Mr Pit himself is legit. If you go get the tri tip sandwich with the hot links it is super good. Service was great and the portions are big. Do yourself a favor and help out this small business
