We came with a group of nine for my brothers celebration for a new home and an anniversary to enjoy some Hino, and once again, we had a fantastic experience! We've been regulars here for quite some time, and every visit is consistently wonderful. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, which makes each trip even better. This time, we were surprised with some complimentary appetizers--a thoughtful gesture from Hino staff that we truly appreciated. It's those little touches that make us feel valued as customers. The food quality is always top-notch, and the service never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to gather with friends and family. First time here & this place didn't disappoint. I ordered a meal that had 7 pieces of nigiri, spicy tuna roll, miso soup & salad for $25 which I thought was a steal! Service was good. I sat at the bar since it was going to be a quick lunch and the bartender was friendly, made conversation & just overall had a warm welcoming!

The restaurant is located by Fresno state and next to mad duck. Been here a couple of times. The menu has many options and food for you to choose. You can do teppanyaki or sushi rolls. Food wise, it's decent. Drinks are decent as well. Services are prompt and friendly. Overall it's decent and if you want a quick fix to teppan/sushi, give this place a try.

Well, guess who drove up from costa Mesa to eat at Hino Oishi again? My grandkids begged Mom and Dad to come to town for the best teppanyaki in Ca! We requested Lee again and he once again delivered the most delicious food! This guy knows how to cook a steak properly. Tendy, juicy full of flavor. The flounder was on point too! This place is always packed! It was 3:30 pm ( the only reservation time left!) and it was full. Just go. Quit reading all the reviews and GO! Pro tip: ask for Lee!!! (I'm sure they are all great!). Lee even made rice for my grandson to meet his special request!

We waited 45 minutes while watching other tables and customers get served ahead of us. The server walked by repeatedly, offering excuse after excuse. After prioritizing our time, I decided this place wasn't for us and walked out.While I try to write good reviews for local businesses, I also to be honest. I am so bummed that it's taken me awhile to try this restaurant. The sushi that I had was amazing. The location is awesome with half the side for teppan and the other for standard seating. I went for lunch on the weekend and was immediately seated in a booth. I had the albacore nigiri as I am skeptical of sushi that's not on the coast ... but it was amazingly fresh and sliced gorgeously. I asked for it raw, not seared, with ponzu. From that point, I was torn. Do I continue with sushi? Or try the Bento box? My waitress, Belle, was super patient and helpful. She checked on me quite a bit making sure I never had to wait. Amazing service and super friendly. I tried the roll she personally recommended ... the Chili String roll. OMG! It was amazing! I will definitely be back as I have now found my sushi home - in Fresno.

Excellent teppanyaki spot! I'd have to say this is definitely one of my favorites as of now. We called pretty last minute but were able to get a spot right away. The interior is clean, decorated really nicely, and smells great! The teppanyaki chefs here season the food perfectly. Customer service is a solid 10/10! They even boxed our food up for us at the end. I would've gotten dessert but the portions were so good that I was too full by the end of it.

Hino Oishi was excellent Teppanyaki. Our first time visiting. With no reservations we were seated immediately. That was amazing. I was excited to try. The staff was great very friendly and helpful. The Ambiance was nice with lots of windows. The ambiance was nice and had lots of natural lighting. The food was excellent. The cook did a great job entertaining and made a delicious meal. Just an idea of the cost of three meals with soft drinks and fish and 2 ordered Lobsters and three desserts were about $200 with tip. I'm not sure if that's good or not but it was fun to eat.
