Best granite company I've ever dealt with. The team came in and made my kitchen look amazing!

I honestly wish I could give this place zero stars. I worked with a girl named Lacy who "helped" us with my daughter's headstone. She did an absolutely awful job designing the headstone with none of the elements I asked for. My boyfriend ended up designing the headstone instead and Lacy still had to go through multiple drafts to get the design right all while dragging her feet. Well wouldn't you know when I went to see the final product that was placed without my approval, the engraving was wrong. I discovered this on a Friday afternoon and left a message for the business. I called again Monday morning when I didn't get a call back by 10 AM. Finally I sent an email to the owners asking for one of them to call me. Instead Lacy called me and flippantly said "mistakes happen" while giggling on the phone. This business deals with families during a loss of a loved one. I consistently had to keep calling to status my order and their lack of compassion was epic. The fact that the owner couldn't pick up the phone to correct the issue just speaks to the customer service dedication of this business. This may be small town Hanford but they don't have the right to treat people like this. Please go to Visalia for your granite needs.

Poor customer service. Won't work with the customer and does shotty work. Definitely should look somewhere else to do you work.

This review is only for the memorial side of this business.This may be the only game in town for memorials and that is a shame. The lady that owns/runs this part of the business needs to learn about customer service and compassion. We didn't like the first draft for our mother's niche plate so I sent in a scaled design of my own. The proof from that came back perfect with one small change. When I dropped off my note on the proof for the one change she accused me of having them re-do it 7 times and told me if I make any more changes I was going to have to pay for it! It was not 7 times; she was exaggerating and was very rude. This plate would be at the site of our mother's remains for all of eternity. I would think especially after someone has lost a loved one, the person providing a service should be kind and compassionate and want to make sure all the details are perfect. I will not do business with them again. I will go to Visalia or Fresno.

Went to there office to get a matching counter top that they installed a couple of years ago, never heard back from them.

I recently contracted with Hanford Granite to install a custom granite counter top on an outdoor seating area I built. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. I had specific needs for the piece and Andy and his team exceeded all of my expectations. The counter top he installed is perfectly crafted and the craftsmanship is flawless. During the design process, Hanford Granite did all of the work and they precisely captured my vision. By using custom etching, they created a one of a kind piece of furniture that will be the centerpiece of our outdoor experience. They were responsive and quick with all of my questions and completed the job ahead of the expected deadline.Based on this experience, I will use Hanford Granite for my future projects. They are an exceptional company and it is good to know we have professional contractors that care about their customers in Hanford. I highly recommend them for anyone interested incredible workmanship from an outstanding team.

I noticed that out of four total reviews, only the two with 1 star were "recommended." The two reviews "not recommended" were both 5 stars. Interesting.My experience with Hanford Granite was awesome. After waiting 5+ weeks to even get paperwork to START production for a countertop for our master bathroom at Lowe's, I called Hanford Granite on the recommendation of a friend. Andy came over to look at the project THAT SAME DAY. The next day he came to template (which Lowe's said they didn't need to do, just measure it ***NOTHING is ever square in a house, and our slab had cutouts at an angle). He explained he had "orphan" slabs that might meet our needs if we liked any of them. I followed him back to the store and picked one out. The next week he installed the slab (they arrived 30min early, at 7:30am, and were done by 8:30). The standard edging was better than what we would've gotten with Lowe's and the whole thing (including installation) was half the cost. The only reason for 4 versus 5 stars is partly my fault. We had measured carefully for vessel sinks and faucets but we had decided to move the sink 1" forward after doing our sample cutout on plywood. At their suggestion I agreed to have the faucet hole moved a bit further away to allow for the water trajectory to hit the center of the sink and not splash back. My husband did the measuring and he wasn't there, so at their suggestion I agreed. My husband had already accounted for that and the faucet holes were subsequently drilled a bit further away from the sink hole than they should have been. I trusted their experience and advice but should have gone with what we already measured - the water ALMOST drips behind the edge of the sink when the faucet is being turned off or run low. It's just barely close enough to make it work. It annoys me that it isn't perfect but it's functional, and technically it was my call to have them adjust it from our original measurement, so I can share the blame. I haven't told them this and if there was anything they could do to remedy it, I anticipate Andy would do so immediately, his customer service is that great. My husband (who installed the faucets) said he might be able to move them a cm closer by manipulating the plumbing a bit, which would take care of it. Overall working with Andy was a wonderful experience and we will definitely go with them for future projects. The counter looks amazing and was completed in a week (from the first call to installation). We've already recommended them to friends.
