Please don't claim you are a "blonding specialist" if you are not. I came in for a color correction from another stylist and requested a root smudge. Micah said she could do both and instead ended up bleaching over half my hair off and left me with a 2-3 inch root smudge when I came in with 1 inch of growth. She tried letting me leave with orange roots and it was only fixed when I mentioned it. My hair is still falling out from her bleaching it.

I was in here couple of months ago not getting a hair cut but getting lashes done. Mica was with her appointment while I was getting my lashes done, in the same room. I don't know how her work is but her hospitality n service behind the scenes, I didn't like it. After her appointment left, Mica n the girl that does my lash, Brie, they were talking about her. About how clueless this girl is and how she doesn't know what she wants and the way she wanted her hair and how she wears it was not in style. I get it, I talk about others, u talk about others, in general we all do it. But don't do that after they leave or in front of others. Save that for after hours, off the clock, on ur own time, see where I'm going? That just made me think that if Mica and Brie are able to talk about their clients when they leave, I'm sure they talk about me too. So, what I'm saying here is, beware. You will be a topic to speak of when u leave. So don't be surprise to hear ur name come up.Update: I like it when businesses write back. I mean this sincerely. It lets me know that they are reading their reviews. Mica messages me asking me to take my review down. I was not criticizing her work ethics, just her professionalism. She did invite me to an appointment with her and I'm sure her work is great, but I don't like her customer service.

The only reason why Mica is leashing out is because she knows the damage she did. Thanks to her I have to go through treatments to help my hair and all of the pictures she posts are well after I had been going to her. Not professional either! Never letting a bully try to bring me down. God help you Mica!

Mica has been my hair stylist for years and is the only person I let touch my hair! She has taken me from blonde, to dark brown, and blonde again many times, my hair always looks healthy and soft. Her salon is cute, clean, and the other girls that work there are sweet!

Mica keeps my hair looking straight up KHALEESI! She does my extensions, that I wear for at least 9 weeks, and my blonde is always on point. The shop is cute and she runs her AC in the summer (thank you very much fresno!) and her assistants are always super sweet and well trained. The best

I didn't give Mica a fair review the first time and gave her a bad review. In exchange for my bad review she didn't respond to it professionally as the owner who she rents her booth from did. I had gone in to get my hair corrected and lighten. I had a lot of brass in my hair and asked her to fix it. Because of the technique she did, not all my hair was bleached. When she foiled my hair, she would do one layer, skip a layer, do another layer, skip another layer until she reached the top portion of my hair. So all the hair that was touched and bleached came out really pretty. But I still had a lot of brass in my hair due to the hair that she never touched. I went to a different hair stylist and explained what happened and he educated me on the the types of techniques there was and which one Mica performed. He made sure to foil and bleach all of hair to get rid of all the brass that was left behind. if she had foil ALL of my hair like this other stylist did, I would have been pleased with how my hair turned out. He also explained that sometimes stylist who are super busy like Mica will have an apprentice to help her. And as long as she did the most important part like the foiling and bleaching, that's all that really matters. Anybody else can go in and tone or color the hair afterwards. So if you plan on getting your hair done by Mica, I would still recommend her. But if you have a lot of corrections that needs to be done like I did, you should really talk to her first and see if you like the technique she will perform on your hair. I gave her a 3 star not because she doesn't do a good job, but because I personally didn't connect with her when I went in to get my hair done. I didn't like how she responded to my 1st review. And I didn't like how she gossip to her coworker about her alcoholic friend.

I have gone to Mica for my hair for 4 years and I've had her dye my hair dark brown and even gone blonde back to dark brown and my hair and it always turns out beautiful! I always leave feeling so confident! I highly recommend anyone wanting to go from dark hair to blonde go to Mica! You won't leave disappointed.

I been dealing with so much damage my hair was super thick and been dealing with thin hair since Mica did my hair it's like if I never took care of my hair so much breakage over processed hair. So I got my hair done twice. The first time was really nice the second time so damaged over bleach. I had no layers in my hair and the hair that she bleach was broken off. I have so much hair that broke off now it just makes me feel really uncomfortable, and my hair is passed my butt right now I am in my 40s trying to fix my hair that's over processed just very devastating when we're older It's harder for us to grow our hair out especially the ones that take care of our hair and it looks just over processed and bleached. It's an embarrassment. It's been four months and all I can do is put my hair in a braid. I cannot curl it put it down style it. It's just. A nightmare. I really hope people look at yelp before spinning money and getting their hair done a big life lesson

LOVE MICA! I've been coming to mica for about 2 years and I love her work! Only stylist I would drive 400 miles to and from Los Angeles for. Her color work is amazing. I get so many compliments. I like her balayage work because my hair ends up with so many different colors and layers in it. Also love her cutting technique. My layers are always even and clean and blended. Highly recommend! I've been going to Mica for 2 1/2 years and couldn't imagine anyone else doing my hair again. I came to her originally after another local "stylist" burnt my hair off and damaged it beyond repair. Mica has totally turned my hair healthy and blonde again. She listens to what you want and is absolutely honest about what is obtainable and realistic without making promises she won't keep. She's very reasonably priced for the level of work she does and manages her time well. I trust her 1000% with my hair and also my daughter who is 4 and adores Mica and loves when she gets to get a hair cut.
