Gorgeous Salon

I hate to do this but it has to happen. I waited to post this review bc I was truly torn. The two ladies I dealt with were genuinely very nice and I didn't want to post a bad review, but, the nurse in me can't let this go esp with the current pandemic we are still working through...having proper infection control and just regular sanitary practices in place is a must.My last wax I tried a new location in Fresno (Gorgeous Salon). While the two ladies who assisted me were extremely nice and on the surface the place is clean, when I entered the room, it just wasn't clean. The robe they have u put on looked dirty, there was wax all outside the wax holder with a wood wax stick sticking out of it and the lid half off half on. But I was like, I'm here now let's just get it over with. Well, it was obvious they are not the most experienced, while it wasn't too painful, they kept going over the same places multiple times to the point my skin was peeling as time progressed after my service. In their defense they did try to be thorough in removing hairs as they also used tweezers. Also after I finished the lady was putting the supplies away and a wax removing paper fell on the floor and she picked it off the floor and put in back in the basket with the rest of the clean ones.They also reused the waxing stick during my service AND replaced said waxing stick in the wax leaving it sticking out on my way out the same way I saw it coming into the room. That said, I'm most certain they used that stick on another client prior to me.Very nice staff but I would NOT recommend this place.

I've gone here twice for eyebrow and upper lip wax and she is amazing. She is so nice and does a great job. I will definitely continue going here!

The ladies here are amazing and will take care of you! I was very nervous getting waxed and they were kind and made me laugh through conversation! They did an amazing job and I left feeling sexy! They do a phenomenal job!

I was attending a wedding in Madera and looking for a salon hot do my hair and makeup. So happy to have found this salon. Very accommodating, did my hair and makeup with time to spare. The salon is very clean and the ambiance is very relaxing. Unfortunately I'm not from the area or else I'd return more often.

The best facials my husband & I received today. We've been to many facial spas but this is one of the best.. Price is very reasonable & service was exceptional. Will definitely be coming back. Place is also welcoming and clean.

Just had my first appointment here and loved every bit of my experience with Pinky and Ritu. The service was great, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the ambience was very pretty and elegant. I recommend the acne facial as a gentle supplement to any skincare regimen and my brows are looking their very best after a near painless wax!

Durga did my hair color and highlights today and she did an amazing job.She is the best in town and really know what she is doing and did everything so professionally and timely.I got so many compliments.I highly recommend Durga for your hair needs.

The place is very clean and so nice , I didnt have an appointment and they still took me in. The lady didnt Specialize in waxing eyebrows but she still did a good job. The only reason i didnt put 5 stars is because she cut a bit of my eyebrow from the top but its not super noticeable.

I would like to start by saying I have been to many salons in Clovis and Fresno and the service at gorgeous salon by RITU blew me away. She was so nice so friendly and so accommodating. I booked a facial and originally had set a time end soon found out that I could not make that time and asked her if I could push it back an hour, she was so understanding and said it was not a problem. I went back into her room and it is very clean, very relaxing and inviting. She had a towel laid out for me to put on and offered me the different types of facials. I went with an organic facial And let me tell you it was the ABSOLUTE best. I was blown away. Her hands are magic, her massages are to die for and the whole experience was beyond extraordinary. I am super happy that I found her and this salon And can't wait for my next one!
