Who doesn't love dinner and a show? The meal includes bread, salad and entree. I got the beef short ribs and thought it was very good. My husband got the buffalo chicken and it was ok. For an additional price you can order dessert that comes out at intermission. We shared the chocolate cake with ice cream, although it looked appetizing it was cold, dry, and flavorless. We saw Sister Act and it was delightful. It's an amateur theater but the cast appear to love what they do and the performance was great.Like most dinner theaters I've been too, you're crammed at your table and all the tables are very close together.

Went to the afternoon show yesterday. Camelot was playing. The costumes, service and seating was good. The actual story- line of the show was weak. I overheard many people trying to explain what happened or figure it out afterward. Not sure why but the second half was very short and seemed to end abruptly . The singing and acting was good; sometimes difficult to understand the lines however, which impaired the whole story line. I plan to try again maybe see a holiday show. Hoping it's presented as a much more congruent story.

Good Company Players is an amazing amateur theatre company. Their shows are put on by a large number of talented and loving people, most volunteering their time. The shows are very good for the little money that the company has to work with. I definitely recommend seeing a Good Company Players show!

I was there last night seeing Little Mermaid. Dinner was fabulous and so was the show but I was so disappointed with the people sitting at an adjacent table. They were so incredibly rude and downright mean to the hostess that was seating people. There was some kind of mixup with their party and they were mad but the lack of class they showed was indicative of how people don't care about anyone but themselves. I wanted to say I was sorry for how the hostess was treated. Honestly that lady should have been kicked out because of her bad behavior. The show was awesome and so was dinner so I encourage you to go but if you can't be nice, stay home and watch Netflix instead.

Excellent food & service. But INTO THE WOODS was by far the worst play ever. A waste of great talent. I actually felt sorry for the actors. We ran to our cars.

I am a parent for a child that performs at Roger Rockas from time to time, I love the other performers, the directors are always wonderful, and the food is great too. But there is a major problem with favoritism when the performers are picked for each show. Some have noticed that Emily Pessano gets a lot of roles, she is a very good actress and performer but she doesn't always fit the characters she performs very well. Whether its the vocal range or her age, she is always cast in main roles and it gets rather monotonous to watch after awhile. One of the biggest problems I have with the auditioning process is when they pick performers ahead of the audition for specific roles. For example, I was at todays audition which had a wonderfully large turn out and we were at a table with some RR regulars and they mentioned that Red Riding Hood had basically already been cast and the person they wanted was a middle aged woman. I was shocked since the audition sheet said that the age range was from 14-20. I personally thought there were others that did better than her at the reading as well. This process was also used in Annie and I'm sure its been used in other shows. Often times people who have more talent are not cast because of the favoritism. I will continue to go to Roger Rocka's and support my child's love for theatre, I love the theatre and the people there but it has flaws that need to be fixed. I hope this review does that.
