When I'm in Fresno, this is my go to spot for all the fresh veggies and fruit. You can never go wrong. Support local farmers all the way!

They've changed ownership and are under new management. I don't enjoy it as much as before but this place is close to me so I frequent this location for all my Asian specialty foods that I can't find in the usual supermarket. Some days they don't have what I'm looking for but I go next week and they'll have it. It's a hit or miss...it's called FreshCo now.

I'm so fed up with this place. The ONLY reason why I come here is because of my mom. She says there's a large variety of veggies and what not. Which is true. But man this place ALWAYS has long lines. Especially in the beginning of the month when everyone gets their food stamps. And there's always only two cashiers working. Also, only one of them that's nice. Everyone else also has such a grumpy face. Smile a little. Stop being so mad all the time. And Put more cashiers up. Please. Service is so slow. And this place is a mess. Clean it up. Organize. Mop the floors. It's dirty. Also be wary of the snacks, check for expiration dates because some of them are expired. Also, what pushed me over the edge with this place is-- I tried to get money sent to a relative overseas and realized oh they have western union here. I'll just get it done here since I'm already here. Waited by the office and no one was even there. 10-15 mins later the guy shows up. And he's helping another gentleman in front of me. And 20 mins go past and the line behind me is getting longer. And these two ladies just cut everyone and I told the guy working inside like that's not fair. There's a long line why are you helping them first even though they cut. He didn't care. He helped them anyways. Apparently getting money orders means you don't have to wait in line like everyone else. At this point I'm already wait 40 mins. He took the time to stop helping the guy in front of us just to help these ladies. Organize your business. It's messy. And it doesn't look good. So I took my business somewhere else.If you plan on going to an Asian grocery DON'T come here. They don't respect your business. Go to Super Asia on chestnut. Or if you have time RN on Herndon. They're way more clean and organized. Faster service as well. Sorry not sorry. I wish I could give this place a -5 star.

Huge old Asian market with lots of merchandise in big wide designated aisles.Space needs a major facelift and could be cleaner. But the clear focus of this market is the good value of its merchandise than its shopping ambiance. Lots of fresh Central Valley vegetable and fruit produce in pre-packaged bags. I was informed that shopping at this market is better at the beginning of the day where more selection. My friends and I stopped in for ingredients for our dinner. We were also looking for avocados which they didn't carry. I bought some Asian household utensils, and my friends bought veggies. Next time we'll come earlier and see if the store is better stocked with fresh produce or the place is cleaner and better organized.

Not a bad place actually. Strictly Asian. Large selection and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Unlike RN this is almost 100% Asian. Some authentic hot foods. What I like most is the utensils and dishes that they offer at very reasonable prices. Anything that you may need. Probably half the price of some of the other places.

Hi guys,I bought and charged for 2 bags of soy bean but when I got home/34 miles away and unpacked grocery there was only 1 bag. Too far for me to return for 1 bag of soybeans..... I'll pick up on my next grocery trip next week. This is for record tracking purpose. Thanks.

In speaking with a lot of the farmers who sell their produce here, I find that this supermarket is very supportive of its own local community. Local farmers can sell almost any of produce and they work very hard to always bring fresh harvests (greens, herbs, etc) every morning, every single week. Other Asian stores like RN don't let farmers sell their produce and only want direct business with companies. They have no interest in supporting local farmers unfortunately. Golden Bowl is my go-to place for freshest and most affordable prices for produce. Catch the local farmer's new produce every morning around 8am!

Terrible, wtf kind of papaya salad is this. Made out of cabbage and has pickles in it? Wow the disrespect is unreal should slap the shii outta whoever made this call it papaya salad with jalapeños and vinegar? This some bullchit

Hi everyone, PLEASE let your family knows, this market always over charge people on their groceries. It is really hard to track by their recipe, no items names. I've only been there like totally 10 times but found out that I was over charge 4 times, and the others time I probably was but did not knows. I told them, and yeah drove back 20 mins to get few dollar back.Trust me, carefully add them up ONE time, and you'll see that you are being over charge of the items. It is that persistent. If they do that to everyone, oh yeah it is a good legal business, "Oh my bad, come back with the items, and we'll return your money". LMAO consistently.
