Rude people didn't greet us when we walked into their jewelry store. 22kt gold medium size earrings are more expensive than the big ones. Pricey place.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Beyond disappointed by the treatment that my group and I received. About 7 months ago icame here to purchase a suit for my friend's Indian wedding. Excellent service then when it was just me. Today, however, I returned with my brother, cousin, sister, and her friend. We had just finished a meal near by and my brother had mentioned that he needed to purchase a chain for an upcoming even. Since we were literally in the same parking lot, I suggested Gobind. I remembered they had a pretty big selection of gold. My sis, her friend, n I made it there first. They went in to look t the selection and I waited outside for the guys. When they got there, however, we very quickly realized that they had locked the door! There were about 7 indian ppl inside and my sis n her friend. But myself, my brother, n cousin were locked outside in the 105 degree heat without so much as an explaination as to why were weren't being allowed in. My sis n her friend came out a few minutes later and said that they felt extremely uncomfortable as the shop clerk watched their every move while inside. Smh. I hate to say it, but I am 100% convinced that our horrible experience was because we were a group of black people. Smh. Shame on them! My brother was so hurt and upset. He was literally about to go in there and spend over $1000 on jewelry and wasn't even allowed inside because of the color of his skin. Needless to say, I will not be going back and they will not get a single dime from me for anything in the future.

Good selection of 22k gold, but I already know people are getting ripped off here. First of all, they took FOREVER to buzz me in. If you want to get a good price, you have to negotiate..which I dislike. I got 2 nose rings for $175 which I think is very overpriced.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! Outrageous Prices! DIRT POOR customer service. The lady who works here, besides being extremely robotic and rude (resting b face), she is extremely condescending when she talks! Her store is disorderly and nasty smelling all the time. They don't have a decent changing room to try their outfits. It's like a hole in the wall. Coming from a person who is extremely experienced when it comes to shopping for Indian clothes and gold jewelry (and trust me when I say that I buy from Berkeley, Sacramento, LA, and India) ALL the time having a giant Indian family and various Indian funtions, I can tell you first hand, her prices are OUT OF CONTROL! I buy suits and gold on a monthly basis spending more than $1000 each time at any shop that I go to. This place has zero variety. Her suits are like from the 90s--cheap looking and outdated. Her gold is outrageously priced. Her service is poor. She doesn't allow pictures, not even if she knows that you are there to buy. I was in a time bind, otherwise, I would've never gone to her lame shop twice that I did. She doesn't fix anyting she gives you and makes you spend extra on stitching. She can't smile to save her life. And she is outright rude when you ask her to adjust her outrageous prices. If this was the last Indian shop left on the planet, I would still not go to it. She needs to get into another profession that better suits her rude, unwelcoming attitude! I am NEVER EVER going there again and making sure that none of my family (reputable, large, and well to do) gives her NO business!
