George's Shish Kebab

I have loved this place for many years. The rice is the hands down best and the beef is great too. I moved to Vegas in 96 but anytime I'm in town I definitely have to eat here.

Stopped in for a quick bite as I was attending an event at the convention center across the streetI was surprised with the portion of the Lamb Kebab Sandwich. It's been decades since I've had this and I was quite pleased. The Lamb was tender and very tasty . Service was friendly as the staff knew it was my first time dining there. I will definitely return next time I am in the area*** 1 September 2022 ***

Food was poorly made. The service was terrible too. They waitress got lost attending us. I didn't tip her. It was that bad. The vibes seems nice but everything else dint make up for it.

With the options of Mediterranean food in downtown, we'd hope to find a spot that we could frequent. Unfortunately, this place was definitely not it. It's sad to say but with the amount of money that I spent here I was hoping for a better experience.Let's start with the order, I called in my order of a lamb lunch plate that came with rice and soup or salad, then a crab pocket bread sandwich, and an extra side of vegetables. For those 3 items it came out to about $35. I called my order about an hour ahead so that I could have it ready right away when I came to pick it up. I came through the back entrance and was near the cash register for take out orders and payments. I got there at 12:01 and didn't leave until 12:14, there were at least 2 people that came in after me that got helped before I did and got their orders out. It took 3 different servers to come by to finally get me my order. I talked to the other 2 twice letting them know what my order was and they still didn't help me.After leaving the restaurant I found a bench to eat lunch at and if the wait weren't enough, the food was absolutely SALTY, and we found HAIR in both our orders. The vegetables that we ordered on the side tasted as if they came out of a can, which really killed the whole thing for me on top of all the salt from the lamb. Definitely disappointed with this place and service.

Great food and wonderful service. Margo is always so welcoming and the staff is so efficient! A favorite for lunch and dinner for all my friends and family. Keep cooking ...we'll keep coming!

Great food, love this plate but like everything and everyone else prices are going up. Ordered this plate with extra meat. Total price $31.

Haven't lived in Fresno for many years but always have to stop at George's when traveling thru. Outstanding...Everything from breakfast to Dolma is the very best.

All I have to say is food has always been great. And it looks like the lady with the thumbnail. Kept funny in the haif. You're bulging that path, don't eat dinner and let your hair fall down. And it blamed the restaurant. Will you hear back? Get a wig or women of food where you going balls.

Food is fantastic breakfast and lunch for breakfast I have the scrambled egg and veggies they make their own homemade salsa. For lunch the chicken salad or lavish roll is excellent they cook right in front of you the best ingredients. Service is great they're fast at taking our order and good about checking on us if we need anything else. Love the Poplarville photographs. Very comfortable atmosphere.

I have been eating at Georges for over 35 years. The food is to die for and always has been. Great service even though there are new faces here now.We love the food and have always been very happy with everything we have ordered. Great Food. Everybody come's to George's for Lunch. My school Reunion has a party here every year, and we are so Happy with how we are taken care of. Thank you everyone at George's Shish Kebab...
