Garrick Peterson, OD

Love this eye doctor!!!! Glad I was able to locate him on Yelp, since his move from Visalia. Dr. Peterson is very professional and so is his staff. I recommend him to everyone I know. Now I look forward to returning to his office and friendly staff. Great eye doctor for children as well.

I too noticed the Christian worship music haha! Back in '09 I had an exam here with my family. The guy takes too long, at least that was the longest eye exam I've ever had. He gave me two different prescriptions for both eyes. Which I always thought was unnecessary and annoying. I mean I know my eyes are bad, but -5.25 and -5.24 really isn't much of a difference! I could've done well with having both the same. I got glasses and contacts, very pricey! I think any other chain like LensCrafters or Costco would've been the ideal way to go about this to save some money, but oh well.Anyways, I recently came here for my sunglasses prescription. Of course it was costly, but they came out nice and cute. The ladies at the front are nice. Except the one with the accent, don't care for her snooty knowitall attitude. From now on ill stick to getting my prescription at Costco and ordering online at 1800contacts!

I have been coming in here since I was a kid. Awesome staff. Dr. Peterson always has your best interest at heart. I've never had a negative experience here.

I had an exam today and I found it to be very quick and thorough.Dr. Garrickson was friendly and professional.I also found his office staff to be very friendly & helpful.I recommend Dr. Garrick and his staff!

My visit started off to a good start. However, they messed up on my contact order. In the past they have given me someone else's glasses and they have also given me someone else's contacts. The doctor is friendly but the assistants are somewhat rude and they ALWAYS mess up my orders.

Very poor service. The lens selection is either from the 80's or designer. So if you don't want to wear old person glasses I hope you are ready to break out a few hundred dollars. The staff is unhelpful, forgetful and apathetic. They did however break a good sweat trying to sell me the most expensive pair of glasses on their display even after i repeatedly told them it was not my taste.I bought a pair and they were expensive. Five weeks later, a spring comes out of my glasses and I take it to be fixed and then get told to just by another pair. I had just payed for my glasses and they tell me with a straight face to buy another pair after not even two months of use. I would rather see blurry for another year without glasses then to just hand them another commission. I told them to figure something out. I called and called and had to keep reminding them of my situation, because they had obviously forgotten that they had my broken glasses. I have had glasses since I was eight and am now 23 and have never broken a pair because I treat my glasses with care. My situation was a manufacturer issue but the front office is too lazy and self important to pick up the phone and make a call on behalf of a patient who desperately needed to have will their glasses back. My opinion is that you never frequent this office

I had to reschedule TWO times due to the doctor not being there. What's his job then and what's the purpose of this place? Pathetic

When first coming in it was good, but coming outdo my check up, I was trying to order my new prescription but trying to reuse my old frames and told them that I didn't want the glare on my glasses. The main office lady made a comment that was rude, but I just brushed it off. I also took them my fames so I wouldn't pay so much, but it was still coming out to $218 and that's with my old frames. Then a different office lady asked me to sign a paper saying that they weren't responsible for my glasses if they broke WHILE they worked on them. Personally, I think they should take more of a professional approach if they want to stay in business. Sad to say, but I will never go back! I got my same glasses fixed at Costco for 1/3 of the price!

Best optometrist! I actually drive 1 1/2 hour to see him for my eye exam and CRT lenses. He's thorough, caring and gets my prescription right.

Finally got in for appointment after a friend had recommended this office. The overall exam was good, but once the purchase was made there was no concern as to my satisfaction! I called because the contacts that I received were very uncomfortable, I was instructed to open another box & try another pair-thought WTF but did it anyway (so wasted 2 pairs!) I wanted to exchange the unopened boxes, so was told "I'll talk to my supervisor & I'll call you right back" Well the receptionist NEVER did call me back!! this is just wrong, they can forget about my business, I will not recommend them, in fact I will advise people of this unprofessional bussiness conduct! DONT GO!
