The basil olive oil is delicious on EVERYTHING! And had to get the Tailgate red for the label alone, but it was tasty too!

Always make my yearly stop here for the Fresno state corn but they also have sweet grapes and yummy pluots. It's more of a self serve type of set up but he college kids are available for assistance if needed. Prices are reasonable and produce always fresh.

Great spot to pick up local produce and meats. Though I am really here for the wine produced by their wine studies students. I got a little of each though partial to the Pinot Gris and the Albariño. The staff was super friendly and even got me a case box to put my wine in. The venue is a bit small but they have lots of gifts and Fresno Bulldogs gear. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Fresno.

I so wish this adorable little store had been around when I attended Fresno State!! I think it's incredible to have a way to highlight all the amazing accomplishments and products our university departments and students create, and I could walk around for an hour just marveling at it all! Plus there's some swag if you're an alumni like me...The school's orchards and vineyards put out olives and grapes that allow them to create some wonderful flavored olive oils (the basil is delicious, but can't wait to try the garlic!) and numerous tasty wine varieties that make great gifts. And the Animal and Meat Sciences provide a ton of great local grown cuts and sausages. I didn't have a cooler last time I stopped in, so couldn't but any, but I won't make that mistake again. I plan to grab up some ice cream as well!! And their chocolate covered almonds and the hot and spicy almonds were a huge hit in our house as well!If you're in the area, this is a cool little spot to check out. I'd be surprised if you couldn't find something you wanted to buy!

My problem lies with management. I walked into the market around 1:30pm on June 7, 2024. The moment I walked into the market, a heavyset white woman was verbally assaulting the cashier closest to the door because she had her back to the door, and had her hands resting on the counter. The woman pushed the cashiers shoulder, causing her to stumble away from the counter while also loudly exclaiming to the cashier "don't lean on the counter, don't have your back facing the door, how many times do I have to tell you." The woman, who I am assuming is management of some kind, repeated this obnoxiously loud chant over and over til she walked into the little staff office.I almost turned right back around and left after witnessing this, but my intent in visiting the market was to support the Fresno State students who had supplied the produce within the market. I'm not sure if I will be returning if this is how management treats the employees. I do not support businesses who hire management to publicly bully their employees openly and loudly with at least 10 customers in the market. I will find a different way to support the students.

I was visiting my nephew and his family who live nearby. They were serving us a delicious and extravagant meal. Part of which came from this country style store. The freshly picked corn was our main draw! My sister and I really enjoyed ourselves as we wandered the store. They have a variety of farm fresh fruits & veggies, dairy products, nuts, snacks, dried fruits, homemade jams, local college wines, art, and souvenirs. The corn is famous and at a bargain price! My sister bought a bottle of wine made from Fresno State and Sacramento State. She enjoyed the Sac State wine the best! Never knew our own home city college made some great wine! Now, every time we are in town to visit family, we won't be able to resist stopping by at the Fresno State Gibson Market before we return home.

Really great experience! I didn't even know this place was here! Greeted upon walking in. Music playing! Nice, calm atmosphere. A lot to check out! I ended up getting Pinot Noir, Lemon bread, Blueberry Paw Tart and Yogurt Pretzels. The worker was very kind at check out. Also said they'll be having their corn to get next month. Paid for the order and wished a good day! Great service and great store! Look forward to trying the tasty treats bought! Highly recommended!

The staff is super friendly. The store hours are currently not correct. I went at 10 on a Saturday and was told the store opens at 9am now on Saturdays. I love their corn and usually my family picks it up for me but this time I decided to pick it up . If you want their sweet corn yiu have to go right when they open. Any time after that you'll be waiting in line and fight a crowd of corn lovers. I also picked up some cab wine from here, I've never tried their wine so I'm excited to see what that's about.

Corn is king here. People go in and out with black plastic bags of corn. White and yellow corn, 3 for $2.00. Yellow are the sweetest.
