Fresno and some very ambitious people have decided to grace us with the option of enjoying the fatty fair food a little bit earlier in the year. I was just as confused as you when I heard the Fresno fair was happening in May! But let's just jump right into this. First of all, I am not a huge fan of the Fresno fair that happens in the Fall. It's extremely crowded, so hot and overpriced. The Spring fair is a lot smaller than the BIG Fresno fair but it is held in the same spot. I feel that if given more exposure , this event will grow larger. This is the FIRST year. They have the usual foods like deep fried Oreos, twinkies, giant corn dogs, Bubba's BBQ and etc. don't expect a huge amount of stands for food though! For this year at least because there were maybe just 9 food stands ? But that's okay, because there were no lines ! LolAnd you got your food quickly. There are a lot of other vendors selling trinkets, snacks and other seen on tv items. Camel rides for $10. A free bird show, the bird sang happy birthday! Lol There are an abundance of games and some rides. Which I did not pay too much attention to, I only came for the food and just to check it out. Slightly disappointed that there were no lobster fries or gelato. Maybe next year ! Parking : $5 Fresno fair parkingEntrance : $10

I went to the spring fair last year. I took my niece and her friend. It wasn't too crowded or too hot. Not as expensive. I did miss the exhibits. There were plenty of rides. I plan to go again this year.
