I have attended an estate sale by Fresno Estates & Auction since the one that prompted my initial review and am posting an update.I appreciate the owner, Steve, reaching out regarding my review with an explanation of what his customers that weekend were NOT aware of. Covid has caused havoc around us in so many ways these past two years. I have witnessed businesses/restaurants crippled (and some forced to close) due to staff exposures/infections. It's definitely been a big stressor for business owners, I get that. It's unfortunate that everyone was feeling the effects it caused that weekend. At the most recent sale attended, Steve was his usual happy self and joking around with his customers. :) If you've never been to an estate sale, you're missing out on a treasure hunt. You never know what you'll find! I have never attended an auction at FE & A, but the hubby loves going to them. Check online for info about local estate sales and auctions for a fun adventure yourself!

Fresno Auction is the best! Steve and his crew are knowledgeable and helpful to everyone. For a first timer it's always fun to come away with a deal. Personally I've been coming to Fresno Auction over the last five years. I've come away with what I think are some incredible deals. Get on their mailing list. They have an auction every Thursday evening. You can swing by during the day to see the auction items in person. I found Steve and his employees to be honest and sincere people to do business with. Go on down and grab a deal. The auction process is simple and easy. Good luck !!!!

Have personally seen numbered lots deleted from being auctioned at several auctions over the years. One was an authentic Roseville vase. The consigner did not cancel the contract and pull the lot, - these consignors are no longer living, and have no family.One time asked the owner if he could recommend someone who would for a generous fee, remove the 100+ lbs WIN I just acquired, and he said, "No". And then he kept walking. When my fellow bidder, the doctor, came to help dissemble the large piece, - the owner did a 180' and was all smiles.I too have witnessed the high $ amount on so called "absentee bid" the auctioneer tells the bidders. Those who are seasoned auction folk, can see right through him.

Bunch of junk for the most part. The auctions go very slow for the most part. The auctioneer will try to talk up all the junk even lie at times about stuff just to try to make a buck

You never know what treasures you will find when you attend an auction at Fresno Auction Company. Sometimes it's at their facility and other times it's out in the community at the source, but either way, I have come away with some great deals and had a lot of fun in the process! Great auctioneers and wonderful staff.

My husband and I are executors of our friends estate and had to have an estate auction. Steven Sr., Steven Jr. and the entire crew were Amazing! They were so accommodating, professional, and friendly and over 98% of the contents of the house was sold! We highly recommend these nice people for your auction or estate sale needs.

This is a fun auction with a wide variety of merchandise, both new and vintage, from the practical to the unusual. It's possible to pick up some great bargains. If you get on their email list, you'll receive notices of upcoming auctions which include plenty of photographs of the items that will be up for bid (and always includes one or two photos of Izzy the cat helping to display the merchandise). Steve and his family are honest and personable. Snacks available for purchase. There's always a lot of stuff, so plan on spending about 3 hours.

I hate writing bad reviews and have let how I felt about these guys sit with me for a couple day. Bottom line I would not want them handling mine or my mothers or anyone I love estate. Very bummed with my experience as a costumer

We love this auction. Steve, Heidi, Suzy and the staff are like family. You never know what you will find. Had an issue with one item we purchased. It had gotten broken from the time we previewed it until the time we went to pick it up. Steve made it right by not charging us for the broken item. They always seem to do the right thing. Get on the email list and review the photos of upcoming auctions. They are usually every Thursday and then on the weekends.

ok I have been to fresno auction sales in cayucos and fresno . I have been a buyer and also had them take care of my mom's estate sale . very professionally handled , honest , and respectful of the sellers items . what I noticed most is that they work hard for the seller which sometimes makes the buyer that doesn't get his way a little upset . some times you get lucky , some times you don't . i highly recommend this company to a buyer or a seller and will be back many times myself .
