Item was stolen while the truck was being loaded and I'm told to file a police report. I need the full name of the driver and his helpers. You know the kind of priority this will get and they should have bonded help. They claim they are not responsible to keep my property safe from theft. DONT USE THEM AND IF YOU DO FOLLOW THEM TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING GET ON AND OFF THE TRUCK. Plus the broke items and threw them in the trash so I wouldn't find out.

Hired them to move recently. Overall had a good experience and wish I could give them 3 stars but they're getting 2 stars for losing one of my items and refusing to reimburse me even after I opted for full insurance. The issue lies in their labeling system which involves placing stickers on the items, however, not all items were tagged and even when they were, many were labeled as "medium box" or "miscellaneous" which is very vague. You are then forced to sign the inventory sheet upon their departure after the delivery is completed but of course there is no way that anybody could possibly go through hundreds of items immediately. It's a shame because I really liked the crew (I even bought everyone lunch) and the estimate process was done by someone efficient and professional. Just beware ...

Hired them 8-2014, the two movers that showed up were from Visalia and were filling in here. They showed a little early, which was a good thing. They were competent, quick, and didn't damage anything. They had all the proper equipment to keep our things safe and protected during the move. They hustled and we tipped them well for it. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I recently moved from California to Tennessee. This is by far the worst moving company, DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS. I totally agree with everything that T.M. wrote on 3/15/18.I wish I had read these reviews instead of listening to a friend that referred them. Every thing that T.M. wrote is so true. Emil was a great talker and yet they stood behind nothing he told us. I paid for full insurance and they covered nothing that was lost. they told me to file a police report because their driver said they had delivered everything. The most important thing was my safe and it has never been recovered. 6 months have passed and I have fought them with everything short of filing a lawsuit. I now am finding other things missing as I start my Christmas decorating and activities. Boxes not here. I have been in contact with corporate numerous times and they continue to respond with the same answer. They cannot assume theft and file a police report. of which I did but as police said this could have been stolen anywhere between California and Tennessee. They hire local people to help them at each location, from packers and unloaders. I paid premium movers price, plus insurance and lost approximately $3000.00 worth of merchandise. Bekins may have been a top notch company at one time, but they have merged with Wheaton and Wheaton now controls everything from corporate. They are crooks in every sense of the word.My advice, Stay away from them and research very deeply before you move.

You get what you pay for. They broke my expensive chest of drawers and didn't bother letting me know. I found out only by opening the drawer a week later. They took little care in properly handling items

My wife and I sat down together and discussed all details of move and services with Emil in October 2017 for a November move from Fresno to Santa Cruz County. This man is a master at the bait and switch move when offering insurance. Please make sure you get the name of insurance and the declarations page at time you sit with him or you will never see any damaged items replaced. He misleads people by blurring the PUC Regulations with Insurance and will call the PUC "INSURANCE" and then deny that he ever did that. I wrote multiple emails to his claims processor, Marcy, requesting the so called "insurance" declaration page and name of the insurance carrier and she will never reply to any written requests. I also asked for a better outline of the entire claims process and would never provide that via email. She always blames Emil and Emil blames Marcy for things not going well with our claims. The moving part went fairly well with only 3 items with damage;however, they will not use any insurance they sell you and try to send other people to repair the items under the false impression that they are insurance adjusters.RUN as far as you can at any conversation of insurance from anyone at this organization.Good luck in your moves and hope this helps someone.

Bekin did an excellent job with our moving needs for our medical facility. They made efficient use of time and were very professional and courteous to myself and our entire staff. Thank you to Bear for going above and beyond and keeping things moving along so we were able to finish ahead of scheduled time! A very positive experience. Thank you to the entire Team!

I had Bekins move me to Arizona. They were really expensive. When they got there, they complained about the rain & tracked mud all over the house. I can't believe all the damage they did to my furniture & appliances. I'm still finding problems months later. I will never use them again.

We hired Bekins to move us out of our house and store our belongings for a few months while we found a new house. We were TOLD that our stuff would be stored in a climate controlled warehouse. After the fact we found out the there is no such thing there and our boxes and furniture were stored in a warehouse in the Fresno summer heat. When our stuff was delivered 3 months later we found broken picture frames, melted candles and damaged items. To file a claim you must have photos of the damaged goods in the original packing - of course they don't tell you this when you call to discuss the damages. You find that out in the claims letter a week later. IF Bekins agrees about the damage, they pay .60 (yep, sixty cents) per pound for reimbursement no matter what the value of the item is. We left a message for our estimator to call us to discuss and we never heard from him. Do NOT use this company if you are going to store any items for any length of time.
