Haircut was okay. Charged me $35 instead of the displayed price of $30. When asked about it, he just said he charges $35. No signage saying $35. Think they just charged whatever they feel like at the moment.

I have been getting cuts from Ruben (and sons) for well over a decade. Their cuts are second to none in the valley, their shop is super clean, professional but loose environment. Ruben started as a barber and quickly became a friend. Great family owned business with dope ass cuts. They are located on a cool little block (Echo Street across from Fresno High), near some renowned food spots. Stop by, get a cut, grab some ice cream next door!

I've been coming here for a while now and remain happy with the quality of the haircuts. I usually see Jaycob but all the barbers here do good work in a variety of styles. For the youngsters, fades, and for middle-age guys like me, the traditional cut works best. Fresno Barber Shop also does black hair and women are welcome too: a few months back a young woman came in to sharpen up her butch cut, which looked great when she left. Like others have said, the place is clean and there's a bunch of antique barber paraphernalia and equipment to admire. Fresno Barber Shop is hip but not pretentiously so, a nice addition to a block with cool shops and places to eat.

Went here since I needed a cut in a hurry for the night. Had good reviews so I decided to give it a shot. Not sure why the guy went really high on the sides, like there is a natural line he could've went along with. Unfortunately I immediately went to another shop in Fresno where luckily the guy cleaned me up left me looking great but had to spend double for a haircut in one day. Should've just skipped this place entirely. Nice and clean place tho. However, will not be returning.

Can NEVER get in due to only booked appointments. Walk ins do not come here. Never fails.

Ruben is the best pro barber in town. Wouldn't trust my head anywhere else. His sons and brother are equally great. Cutting hair here is an art, and you really can't find anywhere else in Fresno that has the oldschool decor and vibe of Fresno Barber shop. Perfect location for me, I knock out Tower District Records, lunch at the bodega, ice cream fix at Ampersand all in one swoop. This barbershop always has an interesting clientele, politicians and artists alike. Highly recommend.

I've come to Fresno Barber Shop Co. regularly for a few years now. The shop is very clean and has a lot of modern class. All of the barbers are polite and friendly. I've mostly gotten haircuts from Ruben and Jake most recently, and I've been very happy with both. So far Jake's cuts have been really clean.I have some friends who go to another popular barber in town, and they seem to rate the quality of his services based on the fact that he takes a really long time to cut their hair, suggesting that he puts a lot of care into their haircuts. While that may be true, I personally value efficiency as well as quality in a barber, and Fresno Barber Shop has consistently provided both.Like a lot of younger guys, I often change up my hairstyle based on what's trending or when I want to just try something new. Typically, I'm pleasantly surprised by how good of a job the barbers do. Occasionally, I realize that I should have been more specific in my directions about something, and when I come back for another shot, the barbers' follow through has always been good.

Might as well change their business hours to 10am. Waited 30 minutes and still no open door. I guess it's time to go look for another barber shop.
