Fresno Ag Hardware

I came here for the first time on 12/2/23. I have shopped on and off at the big Fresno Ag for years, but it is out of the way for me. This one is closer, and the service was outstanding. The selection at this location is less because of the reduced size, but they had everything I was looking for. They even have free popcorn!They have Ace HW products, which I have always liked. They also have some high-end items like Yeti, Traeger, Gozney, Craftsman, Stanley, Dewalt, and multiple lines of paint,Prices are higher than the big box stores, but the service makes up for it.

Took a mallet that needed a new cable into Fresno Ag, George and Randy were more than helpful in figuring out what was needed. I wish I could give more than just 5 stars!

Yay! A local hardware store for Clovis! Fresno Ag is awesome, so different than the big box stores. Instead of trying to hunt down an employee, at Fresno Ag the staff will ask YOU if you if you need any assistance. Located on the SE corner of Herndon and Clovis where the Tuesday Morning store used to be. Quick checkout and a super nice cashier.

Store Manager is an asshole and will call you poor if you don't want to purchase the smoker table he recommends. He also wasnt helpful in the slightest. Was going to purchase a $1,700 smoker but went somewhere else to purchase.

This place doesn't feel like a "Fresno Ag". It's just an Ace Hardware strip mall store. There are no experienced subject matter experts that can answer specific questions about frustrating electrical or plumbing issues and recommend unique solutions. That's been the best part about Fresno Ag at every location in the past.At this location the employees are not experts and like every other box store they just want to get you through the process. They don't think outside the box and they don't really want to answer questions. Finally, they don't have anything related to firearms - even cleaning kits - because they chose a location where the landlord is either woke or afraid. Been there twice, but I have no reason to go back. Second time I was looking for a sawzall. Spent lots of time trying to figure out the best option, but no one ever offered help and the woman there didn't sound like she knew much about the products anyway.

I experienced great service at this store. I was walking around with a couple bags from sprouts and an employee came up to me and offered me an empty shopping cart. Without me even asking. All the employees were friendly and quick to answer questions with brief and courteous responses.
