Checking it out! Loud Spanish music playing.Organized and easy to find what you need. They have a large lunch place if you want to pick up along with a bakery. Lots of fresh tasty looking food! Tried to get cornbread, but got the wrong one and luckily, one worker didn't know either, but another was happy to help and get the cornbread. Also bought salad toppings and a cinnamon muffin.The worker was nice at check out too. Good service and store! Recommended!

Excellent meat, actual butcher! Bakery is very good. Produce wasn't up to par. Will be back soon.

I was skeptical to go into this supermarket because the outside is pretty worn down. It's definitely not bright & flashy on the outside like the large chains.But remember that looks are only skin deep and we should never judge a book by its cover.I am glad I didn't judge this store by its cover because inside was next-level grocery store. No, it still wasn't bright and flashy. Instead, it was well-stocked & everything seemed to be organized by the cultural origin of the food. They had a frozen Indian food section that was an entire wall long, they had another wall of frozen halal food, & a section for Mexican foods. Being inside, felt like a mini United Nations. I am unaware of another local store where you can quickly grab tortilla chips made at the store, frozen naan, & something Halal to top it off. They also sell lots of cookware & a few other cultural non-food products. I don't eat meat but they seemed to also have a busy large meat counter. In this time of scarcity of certain products at several major local chains, I found plenty of eggs & also, toilet paper at this store. They are currently selling up to 15 dozen eggs for $42.99 which works out to about $2.86/dozen. Since eggs are out at so many stores, it's not a bad idea to buy the 15 dozen & split it between families.The lines went quickly too. I was very pleased with the cultural diversity of the products, the music playing, the short lines, & of course, that I got what I needed to where I will definitely consider the across town drive to be able to get what I need at reasonable prices. Also, they had a woman grilling something that smelled really delicious out front so I might go back just to try her food. I am not sure if this is a chain but I think it might be locally owned which would make it the best ever. Shop local & at the least, shop smaller chains whenever possible.

This review is not about the actual grocery store but the taqueria that is inside. I stopped by to grab a bite to eat and man am I glad I did. The lady that was at the counter was super helpful even with my lack of Spanish and her lack of english. The food is reasonably priced, great tasting, and very fast. I will be back.

I rock hard with Freshco Food Center! Let's break this down a bit. The grocery store is lit! The produce in this store very good. They are geared toward Mexican food needs, but you can find most things you would get a other grocery stores. Some things seems higher priced and some stuff is fair priced. It is even balanced! The Meat/butchery part of the store shines hands down! As a BBQ enthusiast, if your doing a big cook for big party, buying meat here is a great idea. The meat is inexpensive and decent quality. Want another gem? They have a taqueria where they serve awesome Mexican cuisine and a sit down place for you to dine in. My personal recommendation is to get the breakfast burrito! It's FIRE! I have had nothing but good interactions with any staff member I've talked to. All in all Freshco is ridiculously rich in culture and is a great one stop shop if want to cook a traditional Mexican meal, or get something on the go! 5 stars people!!

This is one of my favorite local stores. It's very close to home which makes it convenient and they always have great deals. I decided to try their taquillaria one day and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious! They have a taco plate that is so good and you can't beat the price. Only &3.99 for 3 tacos, beans, rice and a canned soda. It's a perfect quick dinner! The beans explode with flavor and have jalepenos cooked into them. My absolute favorite food from here are the Sopes. The bean & cheese sope is to die for! You must try this place! The grocery deals are true bargains and the meat from the meat counter is priced well with good quality meat. It is a strong competitor to Villarta Supermarket.

So-SoI gave it a go, but the lack of an actual circular ad kinda made them a last resort on my shopping trip.I took a look around and the produce seemed decently priced. Unfortunately, some of the produce I tried to buy did not ring up for the posted price, something about those being the old prices that might have been missed. 0_0Maybe they were still trying to get set up and in the swing of things. Next time I have some extra time, I might give them another go. See if they worked out the kinks.

Sometimes things a bit more pricey then they probly should be, but it's an easy "down the street" store to get simple and basic grocery shopping done, the produce is normally fresh when I go in and they normally have good sales going on. It's typically clean when I go in as well. There at least once or twice a month.

I wish this place was in a better area to shop at. The only reason why I go to shop there is they have a lot of Mediterranean food international foods and so forth large variety which I love that! The prices are really good and they are cheaper than Papaya fresh the Cary a lot of stuff that similar for Mediterranean international items! I was surprised I found henna there with stencils! The staff there is really nice too! I rather than four stars because I just don't like the area it's in! If you're a woman you decide to shop there I would go early or maybe take someone with you! It's not a bad area but it's not the best!

Sad that the young gal got my tacos wrong and did not give me any salsa. The carnitas looked sooooo good but got carne asada instead.
