Flame It Burgers

This place located on the corner of Chestnut and Ashlan, is conveniently located near the nail salon I patronize. So I was starving before I got to my appointment and decided to pop in here on recommendation by my manicurist. I was going to order the spicy chicken sandwich because that comes highly recommended. Then I noticed... Pastrami sandwich! I hunt for pastrami sandwiches all over the central valley. I had no idea that one was lurking here at flame burgers. Ha ha I had to give it a try. At $7.49 I figured I couldn't go wrong. And boy was I right. I went inside. And this place is actually huge inside, plenty of seating. They have a huge play area with slides and climbing places for children, which is really great. The interior is decorated in a lovely fresh fashion with red and white tiling everywhere. It was very clean and very easy to order. The menu is straightforward and sports a number of burgers, chicken sandwiches, a few salads, and of course, my pastrami sandwich. I ordered my sandwich and sat down to wait as I was taking it to go. It was provided promptly. The pastrami was hot and juicy. There were little crispy bits on the corners just the way I like it. It was served on a sesame bun or I should say roll. The perfect amount of pickles and also mustard. The only thing missing would've been one of those hot banana peppers but I forgot to ask about that. All in all, well done.

12/26/2024 - "Flame It Burger". Went here to try them again. We went through the drive through window. Our Bacon Cheese Burger was great! I added jalapeño to mine and it tasted great. There's no ketchup on these burgers. So if you like ketchup on your burger, make sure to ask for ketchup. Fries were seasoned good and cooked great. My little one ate all the fries. My little one don't usually eat the fries. The person at the drive through window was nice.

RIP OFF!!!I wanted to like this place as I've only been twice. The first time it was pretty good. I love pastrami and had the pastrami burger and it was pretty good. However, tonight we spent over $35 for 2 people. The pastrami sandwich barely has any meat on it! If you look at the yelp postings, previously, you could actually see pastrami. I called them up and the woman didn't really seem to care. They said they "measure out" their pastrami which is kind of pathetic. She said there was nothing they can do about it. Talk about customer service? I will never come back here again. They didn't even try or want me to send a picture. Check out the difference. You spend $13 on a pastrami sandwich that looks like a BLT. And they charged me $1.40 more on my debit card. They charge 4% for credit or debit cards. Pathetic.

Awesome food real charbroiled, best selection of sides soo much more than just fries. Great kids menu or alternative meal selections. Great service, real Orange Crush!!

Great burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches at a fair price. Large shakes are very large.

I first found this place about four years ago. The interior reminded me of something from my childhood: bright red and white on the walls, simple hamburgers, crinkle cut fries, and delicious soft serve ice cream.What I love most about this place is consistency. It's not the most incredible burger I've ever had, but it's a very consistent burger with incredibly kind workers. Every time I've been there, I've had a good conversation with at least one of the workers. My food is always been cooked correctly, warm when it comes to me, and I've never once regretted eating here.Bonus tip, they can do grilled onions if you ask for them. They'll also add jalapeños to your burger if you ask for them.

Awesome food. Great prices. Gotta try the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Grilled Chicken Salad!! Beware they charge an unknown fee for using credit that's not posted or told. IE: my last visit, Grilled Chicken Salad was told $10.25, then charged $10.66

Good food good prices. Kids love the play area. Cons: homeless people always inside not eating.

JUICY YUMMY GRILLED TO PERFECTION BURGERS!!!!!!!!! So glad I decided to try this place! Definitely coming back! It was storming a bit on my way to this burger spot (I drove from Madera) but honestly it was worth driving in the rain for!!! Great prices too!!!

I really wanted this to be a good burger. Just mediocre at best. Very thin, basic burger. The fries are nothing special. Spent $30 for 2 burger meals. Same kind of thin frozen basic hamburgers you get anywhere. I may go back and try something else. Food is so disappointing these days.
