First Step Day Care

Patricia and Carla are two gems in the daycare business! They are loving, patient, and simply incredible! My husband and I are truly blessed to have found this daycare in such a pinch and we are grateful for the care they give our child! % 5

First step day care has been phenomenal for our almost 3 year old. Our child started here when she had just turned one and has spent almost 2 years here. Patricia and Carla are the kindest care givers you will ever find . We felt so reassured when we first met them to learn about the daycare. They were so patient and worked with us through various phases of stranger anxiety that our toddler experienced . They maintain the daycare spic and span and are always sanitizing. They follow a great schedule every day and make sure to engage the toddlers in learning activities. They also provide all home cooked meals and snacks and will work with you on food restrictions if any. Overall , I highly recommend First step and could not be happier with the care our child received here.

We love Patricia and Carla. They were really great in taking our 2 boys and even had a nice transition plan for them to start. Right when we got into a good routine, the pandemic hit and everything changed. The Fresno area will be lucky to have these two, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Patricia and Carla provided my two boys a safe and loving environment! I enjoyed their warm welcome to the kids And myself. They are very kind, thoughtful and playful. When you take your kids to their daycare, they are in great hands! We trust them very much and are happy we found first step daycare!

I had my older son for 3 years there and now I have my younger one for almost 3 years and they are amazing!!! Patricia, Carla and all the staff are so caring with my kids and taught them so much that I could not have ask for better care for them! Choosing the right Day Care for your child can be stressful but if you talk to them you will see immediately that they are truthful, caring and the best choice.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Patricia and Carla. It's always a hard choice to place your child in a new environment but we soon saw these two loved our son as if he was their own. He has truly thrived in their care and they have expanded his love for learning. While it is time for our son to transition to a more traditional school type setting, we know he has the proper foundation thanks to First Step. We are eternally grateful for our time here. If you're looking for a daycare with both educational structure and a family type feel, this is the place for you.

We are incredibly grateful to have found First Step Daycare! Patricia and Carla are the most caring people, and our daughter absolutely loves them and daycare! She is always so happy to go there, and they go above and beyond to provide a safe and loving environment for all the kids!

5 stars is not nearly enough to rate this incredible second home for our daughter. Patricia and Carla have become family and we can't wait for our next child to begin going back for care while we work. The environment for the children is one where they feel nurtured and loved. Along with that the children learn the basics like counting, ABCs and best of all, manners! If you are looking for care for your little one, don't hesitate to give them a visit to see for yourself!

Honestly the only downside of this daycare is the day your child ages out! Putting our son in another school reminds me how fortunate we have been with Pati and Karla. You know your child is loved and care for with them. Also they run a very structured and a rich learning environment. My son always wanted to go to school and talked about all of his friends when he wasn't there. We all miss them so much. If you're fortunate enough to get a spot here take it!! The added culture and multiple languages and diversity of kids are also amazing. Even now as my son is attending a new school, he still cries for Pati and Karla daily. When you work--there's nothing more comforting than your child being cared for and loved so significantly. Wonderful place and wonderful people!
