Figaro's Mexican Southwestern Grill

I came here to meet some friends. I hadn't been here before so it was nice to try a new place. It was dinner time but there weren't too many people here. I actually liked that because it gave us the freedom to take our time without feeling like we had to rush out. The place was clean and well lit. The menu is your basic Mexican dishes however they do have an expansive salad menu. They have burritos, tacos, sopes and soups. My friend and I tried the chicken tortilla soup and the chile verde burrito. The food was fresh and flavorful. I really liked the burrito. I thought it was too big to finish but I ate the whole thing! It had a lot of rice in it and only a small amount of sour cream in the middle. As well as a small amount of meat, mostly rice. But the flavors were good. My friend really liked her soup. The people here are nice. The parking lot situation, it is what it is. That shopping center is poppin!

When I first came to Figaro's, I was at the Clovis location. It was a hot summer evening and I was craving nachos. Had no IDEA HOW BIG THE PLATTER OF NACHOS WOULD BE! It was amazing!!!!!! I ordered the fiesta nachos and was full and content afterward! Since then, this has been one of my many go to spots. The service is amazing and I love that all of the food and ingredients are FRESH. You feel good about what you're putting into your belly. Just last night my mom and I had dinner here (her first time) and she ordered two tacos and an enchilada. I of course ordered the fiesta nachos (but I will definitely try something different the next time I go!) She tore all of her food up! Her only complaint was that the chunks of carne asada were too big for her but other than that she LOVED the food!

Had the fajita chicken taco plate, wow! Also appreciated Joseph's attentiveness and service! We love this place. Thought it would be hard to replace the Mexican cuisine we were used to in Salinas. They have filled the spot!

I very rarely eat fast casual (or fast food). Went here for lunch with my older aunt. I had the Baja shrimp salad. It was amazing!! I've been thinking about it ever since. We also had an order of guacamole and chips. Very good guacamole. Both servings were ample sized; definitely didn't skimp. Service was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Not sure why this restaurant claims to be Southwest. If you don't have Hatch Green Chili, it's just not Southwest Mexican food. Chili Verde is NOT the same thing. Had the Ranchero burrito and it was really good. The chips on the side had no salt and didn't taste like they were made fresh.Refried beans and rice were more of a Mexican fusion. Not Southwest. They were out of iced tea and never made more. Flavors were very different than the usual Fresno Mexican food. A nice change. Still disappointed that Kokopelli didn't offer up green chili lol

The food is 100% delicious. They serve Barrel House beer as well, so I'm sold. My wife loves the food as well, we've been here twice in just a couple of weeks, we'll be back before too long. Highly recommended.

Nachos and bean and cheese burrito. Not the first time I've gotten food with cheese not melted. Where are the burritos you can eat with your hands?

The food is abundantly large portions of delicious and expertly prepared. My favorite is the Salmon Salad. The atmosphere is inviting and the help is incredibly polite. we make it a point to eat there every time we're in town. I cannot stress enough, regarding the quality. this is the must for anyone who enjoys Mexican cuisine.

Great food reasonably priced. We had the shredded beef tostada special for $7.95. It was a great lunch.

If you're looking for a little twist on your Mexican food favorites you should check out Figaro's on Friant across from Trader Joe's. Prices that are easy on the wallet and the service is perfect every time. Vincent always greets you with a big smile and is helpful with making selections if you just don't know what to order. And most of all the Salsa Bar...!
