Fashion Nails

DO NOT GO HERE! Went in for a new set and pedicure. First, the pedicure. ...I asked for them to cut my nails short, the man barely trimmed any off. He also used the electric filer to take off my regular polish, leaving white marks on my nails. Then only scrubbed my heels not the rest of my foot. The paint job is so thin you can almost see thru it. Next the nails, I really just think the picture says it all. I don't know understand how the nail tech can think this is acceptable. They are lumpy, thick and just hideous. I wish I would of spoke up!!! So please, save your money and go elsewhere. Oh and this color is supposed to be neon yellow...lol I should of went back and spoke to the manager but do not want to step foot back in this place.  I already got them fixed by a very very good nail tech.

Not from Madera, I'm here for the weekend but I really needed my nails done, so I came here. Employees were very nice and welcoming. My gel manicure was $30. The shape of my nails are exactly what I asked for. The nail polish is slightly bumpy throughout my nails. I also wish they would've done 1 more coat of polish, since it was a lighter color. Not sure I would ever come back, but very good hospitality!

Communication is everything first and foremost . I asked for a spa pedicure and a polish change. I believe displays changed ownership. I've been there in the past maybe three or four years ago. My regular spot was booked so it's good to have a back up however, the pedicure could have been better . But it's the nail polish for me. Polish was not smooth. She didn't take her time she didn't put any oil around my cuticles Stevie Wonder conceit. This wasn't right, so I just wanna be back there and I do not recommend it. There were some other issues with some other clients as well so as I mentioned communication is everything so if you do decide to take a chance and go there, make sure before you sit down in the chair you have someone that understands and speaks English know exactly what it is that you want.

I was visiting family from out of town and stopped by this nail salon. The salon was really clean. It looks like after Covid they started using the disposable bags for pedicures. I told them I was in a bit of a rush and they immediately got started on my pedicure and then manicure. The person who did my pedicure was really careful. I told Tina I wanted an ombré manicure and she picked the best combo! I got so many compliments on it when I went back home and it lasted much longer than my other manicures. I'd highly recommend coming here! Everyone was nice and I got exactly what I wanted.

They did great on my French top toes but it was supposed to be a whole pedicure but all they did was wet my feet and did my toes , they forgot to scrub and clean like the whole pedicure part was forgotten ! I gave them 3 stars because the french tip toes are good but for $70 they could of not forgotten the pedicure part.

For one, I've been going here on and off since high school. I'm 21 now and I can see the inconsistency when it comes to quality. I always get my toes done, in my opinion the women do a better job and are more considerate of the after appearance of my toes . The real issue are their acrylic nails, I always show pictures in reference to what I want they come out like this f*$@!^ up lol. I do not have patience to argue with the techs on what I want when clearly the picture GUIDES you to what the client is wanting. He tried to cover up the warped polish which after 2 days it chipped as you can see in the photo. I wanted square and I got a bubble formation, NEVER coming back here again, I'll drive to fresno or merced for quality nails.

I usually like coming here for my acrylics. However the time before last I showed them 4 what appeared to be basic design and the guy told me "painted design looks trashy, their no good use stickers". Then last time I went I was at the salon exactly at 9am when their were suppose to open, no one showed up till 9:30 then the lady who opened the doors didn't do acrylics so I sat there waiting for a fill for at least an hour and when I finally got done I notice a few nails were crooked which I overlooked however later that night I felt severe burning and itching under one particular nail and I ignored it, the next day my finger was still burning itching and became swollen so I go to the doctor and they removed the nail to find not only was the nail glued to the cuticle and the left side of my skin but it was INFECTED!!! Save your money and go elsewhere!!!!

Went in and asked for overlay the women continue to make comments about my short nails. I tried to explain why I wanted short overlay and she still made comments the whole time.

I noticed they reuse nail files and it was dusty while getting a set it was also very busy but it should be cleaned. I will not return or recommend!

I wish I could give less than one star. After seeing my nails, I want to cry. The tech was so rough with me. They filed off my nails completely. I said ouch several times because of how rough they were, and it was so obvious they just wanted you in and out so they could get to the next person. I've never seen my cuticles look so terrible. Also the water that they soak your nails in was ice cold... awful. Never coming back.
