Fargo Nail Spa

I've been coming here for years, but after the last few experiences I've had here - I will not be coming back. I spent more than an hour and half in the chair for a basic pedicure. The paint is already chipping after one day. Maybe it's because they put acetone and more acetone in their nail polish bottles to make it easy to use, then put the same bottle back on the shelves and probably do it again the next time. I also asked for a manicure, but they forgot. This has happened more than once. I'd recommend going any place else.

I have been going to this shop for years. I would highly recommend Kevin, and only Kevin, for pedicures. The ambience is that of any quick, strip mall nail shop.

I came in for a pedicure and she went to try to cut in grown toe nails-which I didn't have and ripped off the skin and made me bleed a lot. I don't know why nail techs do this! You're not a podiatrist! Now my toe is infected and I woke up in a lot of pain. Never again will I go here.

I had my nails dipped a little over 2 weeks ago, they turned out nice, except for some areas the manicurist made me bleed when he was filing. Today I went in to have them removed and I cannot believe the condition he left my cuticles/nails in. Six fingers bleeding and still areas left with the dip polish on it. When I said "you're making my fingers bleed", he tapped the drill on his hand and said "no hurt". Ummm, well my fingers are bleeding so it does hurt. I will never go back and warn others!

Fargo Nail Spa is the WORSE nail salon I've ever been to. I hate, hate, HATE this place!! If I had the option to give this establishment negative stars, I totally would.I came in about a week ago for a pedicure. Right when I placed my feet into the tub, the old man immediately started scraping my feet. I found it unusual since it didn't give my skin time to soften up. When he scraped my left foot, I felt a sharp pain that left me in tears. I looked down and saw my heel bleeding! I scolded the man for literally tearing a huge chunk of healthy skin off-- and he didn't even apologize! I looked at the other worker who was watching us and she didn't say anything. They just left it be. To this day, my heel gives me sharp pain whenever I walk on it and the scrape is now crusting over. It looks a little better since it's been healing for a week, but it looked worse on the day of. I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else. This place is not worth your time or money!

To preface my comments, I did arrive 20 minutes to closing and specifically asked if they could take me. I was told no problem.I cannot recommend this place for the following reasons:* My nail technician was very difficult to understand and by the end of my pedicure the price went from $25 to $50 with no clear understanding of what the upcharge was.* After he used the "cheese grater" on my heals he did not smooth them out and I left with very rough feet. * He hurried the process as it was closing time and I don't feel I received a complete pedicure, hence the rough feet. The biggest issue I have is that it was after closing when I went to go pay and I was told it had to be cash and was directed to the ATM located in the corner of the salon. NOTE; the two previous customers paid with credit cards. I felt they were trying to scam someone by insisting it be Cash. With the above issues, I will be taking my business to a different salon.

Wouldn't waste my money here again.Came here, the guy kept saying "ma" then his mother would come over and help and correct what he was doing. During the service constant flies were in my face and landing on me, along with two workers who sat next to me chomping on food. They charged 30$ more for white tips, which I feel is unreasonable, with the paint chipping off two days later. I was truly unhappy and will not be returning back. Very unprofessional!

I have been coming here for years, and have usually been happy with the results. For a basic gel manicure, you can't beat this place's prices. Unfortunately, my last experience makes me never want to go back.I had come in to have my old gel nails removed, and redone. I simply wanted black nails, done with gel polish (so they won't chip). In the past, technicians have used a chemical remover to strip the gel polish, but occasionally they will simply sand off the old polish. No big deal. This time however, an older male technician used the sander, and sanded my nails down to the point where my fingers BURNED underneath. My nails were transparent. They folded worse then paper. The gel polish after was laughable. I tore them off with no effort later that same day. Honestly, I'd say your experience going here is hit-or-miss. Still though, for the price, it may be worth your time.

My family uses Fargo nail and spa all the time. Unfortunately due to todays experience I don't believe I will be going back! I had to have my nails taken off for personal reasons and the time before when I had taken them off myself, it didn't go well. The gentleman that took them off, seemed annoyed that was asked to do it. He did a horrible job, very rough, split two nails down the middle and made three of them bleed! I could have done a better job!! He did buff them but no clear coat no extra and then charged me $15 for his service and stupid me tipped him! I so wanted to go back and get that tip back! Just beware!Very disgruntled patron
