Expo Events & Tents

So far so good with Expo Events and Tents! We are halfway through the process. We have been to a couple other spots, and Expo definitely had the most selection, including options to "special order" what we needed, since our event was so far in the future. Gabrielle was just helpful enough and answered ALL of our questions, but also gave us space to discuss and mix and match our options without being too overbearing, which I appreciated. She did go above and beyond to find the colors we needed in table runners, even though it wasn't something they carried. Prices seem to be pretty standard with other event rental companies. We have items ordered for will call pick up in September, so I will be able to update review after that!

I ordered two days before and they were able to accommodate. All of the linens were in perfect condition and sealed in plastic. Easy uncomplicated process.

After researching numerous rental companies I finally decided to go with Expo and I'm glad I did! Originally I was planning on going with a few rental companies to get better pricing but I ended up getting most of my stuff from here because it wasn't worth paying for multiple deliveries. Expo brought the big items like the chairs, tents, and tables. The items looked great and the set up crew was very professional. I decided to go with a different vendor for plates/other glassware because they were cheaper but when they dropped off they were missing about 50 pieces and the delivery guy said that they didn't have anymore. You could probably imagine how ticked I was. So I decided to call expo to see if they had anything last minute and they did! They were able to get it out to me within the hour. I will definitely give them a call again for my next event.

My experience here was fantastic. I went to another rental spot and two employees simply sat behind the counter and CROCHETED! No assistance whatsoever. I called Expo and immediately had a great feeling about the business. Every single employee smiled and greeted me. Gabrielle spent over an hour (and several 1000 steps) to find exactly the design and arrangements I wanted for a memorial Did I mention EVERY single person-- including the in house florist asked if I needed help?I am completely satisfied with the customer service, price and selection at this business. I'll continue to support this enterprise!

Rented from here before previously no problems. I called to reserve 3 tables and 10 chairs. After it was reserved and paid for I was notified that I could pick up the order. I wanted to pay for them to be delivered, I was told that my order was to small to deliver. I do not own a truck. I called my husband to inquire if there was any way to get the items in our car. I called back in 10 minutes (same day) to cancel my order, I was charged a 5% fee for the cancelation. Granted it ended up being a $3 fee, its the principal. I think it would be fair if you notify the client before payment that every order is not eligible for delivery. Keep in mind I live less then 10mins from the warehouse. Nonetheless found another company glad to deliver and pickup my order. Situation could have just been handled better.

My wedding was in Mariposa, so It was hard to find someone who delivers to that area! Margaret was a huge help. I live in the bay area, so It was tough to coordinate things for a venue so far away, but Expo made the rentals happen without a hitch. We set an appointment to get together and see different table and linen layouts. It went quickly and gave me a concrete visual of how my settings would look. Margaret's suggestions and knowledge of the products helped the process go smoothly. We changed guest count and items needed a few different times over email, and each time we would get a response within a couple of hours with the updated invoice. Expo party rentals had what we needed, had great suggestions, was very responsive, and I'm glad I chose them for my big day!

Was looking for flowers for the girls in my office (cuz they are awesome) and learned that expo had their own flower division called Kiku Floral. Had been all over looking for flowers but none of the other places stood out. I was not disappointed with expo. The flowers are gorgeous! Will be going back for wedding center pieces! The staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions. They had a variety of flowers and the arrangements are to die for! Never going back to the other flower shops I'm now forever an expo customer!

Customer Service was horrible. Did an online quote and they sent me an invoice through email. I asked clarifying questions including how to pay and was never responded to so I called to find out what was going on. Found out they wouldn't deliver because the order was too small (40 chairs and 6 tables, who can fit that in a truck!?) so I cancelled the order and found somewhere happy to take my money and deliver.

Awful! Don't even talk to Virginia; she doesn't know anything about customer service. They accepted my quote for my rentals to be delivered to my party. However, only an hour before closing on Friday, they called me and said they not only wouldn't be delivering but were also closed on weekends. When I called them, telling them I was on my way and would arrive 5 minutes before they closed, they agreed. Only after I had driven half an hour to get there did they inform me that they decided to close at 3:45 instead of 4 and couldn't take my order. Not even an apology for the inconvenience on their side!

This has been my go to place for any events! I appreciate their great customer service. I will admit, their prices are not cheap but reasonable plus I understand they supported local businesses during the pandemic so I want to return the favor. Keep up the good work!
