Ethan Allen Home Interiors

I received this letter the other day from the company stating the store here in Fresno is closing. They were inviting me to "a special close out sale." Letter says up to 76% off items. Since we have Ethan Allen that we have had for years and we're happy with it, we went to take a look. We will be looking for some new living room furniture soon. We go in and the first I notice is how high the prices are. I know that furniture is usually marked up around 400%. How about a sofa for $10,384.00. Does it have gold in it was my question. We walk around and what we notice is the prices are ridiculous. Now the gal who greeted us is asking if I see anything we are interested in. My response, " no we didn't find anything that were interested in thank you. What we did fine is furniture that is too large for us for our home and is very highly priced." Now the truth comes out of this sales person's mouth. She tells us that very few pieces in there are even Ethan Allen. The company sub contracted to another furniture manufacturer. Why would want to buy anything other than Ethan Allen if I came to this store. What a joke. We left and went to Fashion Furniture and actually a complete set; sofa, recliner and love seat and all pieces have electric recliners and the total was less than one else sofa that they a r email trying get to get rid of. Oh, to end my story, nothing going there was even worth half of what they are asking. However, these people think they have you once you enter the store.

I forgot what service used to be like before the WalMarts of the world took over. This place not only understands service (as in they will take their time with you) but also understands it after the sale. When they made our delivery the delivery guys were courteous and professional. No more big box for my furniture. I can't believe I waited that long to go there, only went because I was waiting as Pimos restaurant next door for a table.
