Elliott House Boutique Inn

Lovely, quaint cabin rental with all amenities needed. We stayed in the Sequoia Suite and it had a kitchenette with small fridge, microwave and coffee in room. A gas fireplace added to the romantic atmosphere. A seating area in Room, and on the porch outside. A king-sized bed and spa tub made it a perfect stay. Seating areas set out on the property so you can enjoy nature.The main house had a lovely dining area that has lovely views, serving a great continental breakfast that included oatmeal, cereal, juice, toaster waffles, breakfast sandwiches and burritos! A full coffee and tea bar with all the necessary items. We had a great stay.

This was a very last minute getaway, one of my sporadic pick a place and just go! This place definitely served its purpose and plus more. Not only was it a beautiful drive out, but the smell of redwood and "clean" air was just what I needed.First, the emailed directions of checking in could not have been any more clear. I'm a a detail freak and not one bit of direction/instruction was off. Clear and concise! Second, the room was more than what I ever expected. The bed was soooo cozy, the amenities and decor made me feel like I was away from it all and deep in the middle of no where. Temperature was perfect. It did get noisy from the upstairs guests, just the walking around etc, but I got use to it fast. I stayed in the Ponderosa, I was awake throughout the night believing it was pouring rain continuously but found out in the morning there was a fountain outside - again, no big deal but gave me a chuckle.Third, the dessert waiting out in the dining room was delicious ... I had 4 servings :)This will be one on my list I need to return and explore the area more.

Beware of un accommodating and dishonest business practices. The owner Joann will change her policies as she pleases in to benefit herself. She charged my credit card in full, far in advance tocheck in. The website clearly states otherwise. I contacted her 6 days in advance to our arrival because we could only stay for one of the two reserved nights. I was hoping to use 2nd night which had been paid towards a future reservation. She was not willing to accomadate.

A nice and relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A short drive to be surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature. Close enough to walk to multiple eateries.It was wonderful to wake up the the smell of breakfast cooking after a peaceful nights rest. Waking up to share conversation and coffee with fellow friendly residents made the trip even more enjoyable. The hosts were accommodating and informative. I'd love to be a guest once again to unwind and disconnect.

Elliot house was a big surprise for us, we booked one night and we regret it as soon as we step into the place . We have should spent a whole week!! The house is so charming that changes your energy instantly. Rooms are cozy and really romantic.The best are the owners: Joanne and Greg! The are really kind and supportive. Greg cooked for us one of the best breakfast I ve had! And he explained and give us advise about the parks.Being there is like being at home with your family and not a hotel. We were really impress for everything. We arrived late and they even left some food and wine for us.I definitely recommend this place as a little oasis between park visit!

My husband and I booked a room at Elliott House for one night for a spur of the moment get-away at Shaver Lake. What a WONDERFUL place to stay! Greg and Joanne Elliott were gracious and accommodating hosts! Lots of yummy treats in the afternoon and a scrumptious breakfast and fresh coffee in the morning! A must stay in the future!Thank you Greg and Joanne!!!

The room was lovely. Very cute and romantic, nice little places in town close enough to walk to with live music on the weekends. Biggest complaint is that the breakfast offered is less than even continental. The pictured breakfasts from previous years were a big draw for us and my partner and I spent more than we usually would at a place for that reason. But the current breakfast was truly disappointing. There were little frozen burritos, yogurt, and bread in the fridge. The original owners just recently sold it and the new owners should not call it a "bed and breakfast" if they do not offer an actual breakfast. Considering our budget, we would not have wanted to spend so much on just a cute room if we'd have known. They should at least let people know about the changes that have been made so there aren't misled expectations.

This place clearly no longer a bed and breakfast which was unclear when booking. They still have a sign up that says bed and breakfast. We had stayed here before and had such a wonderful time we decided to return. There is no on site staff. We had an issue with our first room that they fixed by changing our room but the place is not well kept with cobwebs in our room. For the price breakfast should be more than old muffins, old fruit and packets of oatmeal. So disappointed. My hack hurt from the hard bed. And the snacks were cheap target brand snacks. For the price is was not worth it! We will not be returning or recommending.

My boyfriend and were desperate last night and decided to give this place a call. I wasn't aware of there hours. She answered the phone and said hello??! As if I was inconveniencing her I thought I might've had the wrong number so I asked if they were the bed and breakfast. She sternly replied "our hours are from 8am to 5pm!" I said okay maybe just start off with that next time I didn't even realize who I was talking to. She literally said "fuck you" Customer service award goes to you!!! It was actually comedic

Hosts were so welcoming and allowed us to check in early. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and I'm so grateful they were accommodating to my dietary restrictions. I would highly recommend staying here, you can walk to every store in big creek from this location.
